Episode 22 recap: Break the bottleneck
Last week we fixed the funnel. This week was about feeding it. A fixed funnel with nothing flowing in is a dry pipe. We split it into three parts: the Lab, the Truck, and the Machine. **𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝗯: 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘁 𝟴𝟬%** 90% of the time, you are the bottleneck. Not the algorithm. Not the content. You. I'll own it first. We run ads every day and still under-post our own organic. Melissa calls it the hairdresser who never gets their own hair done. Here is where organic dies: on the founder's calendar. You draft the post, check it off in your head, and never hit publish. If it's not public, it's not real progress. The fix is not more hours. It's more reps. Ship at 80%. That alone can double your output. Expect low reach if you've been quiet for a while. When something pops, double down on it. Melissa's question for anyone stuck polishing: what would you try if you knew nobody would judge you, including you? You find the leak in a tire by putting it underwater. Same with content. Put it out and see where it bubbles. **𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲** Pretty content that doesn't convert is expensive art. A videographer is not a marketer. We had a client who wanted viral B-roll carousels. Lots of views. Almost no conversions. We switched to talking to camera with B-roll and motion graphics, and it converted like wildfire. And don't confuse famous with finances. The most profitable thing you can do is speak exactly to the person you want to buy. **𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸: 𝗽𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲** The goal is revenue, not views. Know your market. If only 200 people can buy what you sell, stop performing like you need the attention of millions. A million views from people who will never buy is expensive entertainment. How to find what to fund: 1. Look at your last 7, 14, and 30 days of organic. 2. Pull the winner into a campaign and raise the quality bar on that format. 3. Make sure you can handle the calls before you scale. 4. Scale 5 to 10% a day, not double overnight.

We are live at 11am Central: break the bottleneck [Ep 22]
Today's show is the system behind content that books calls. One show, three pillars. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰: You are the bottleneck. Every post waits on your free hours, and organic dies on the founder's calendar. The fix is more reps: ship at 80% and double your output. Plus why a videographer is not a marketer. 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱: Views are not revenue. Know your TAM, then find the winner and feed it. Organic is the lab and paid is the truck. I'll share a real business breakdown: applications from 72 to 420 in 23 days, with 325 coming straight from ads. 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄: Systems don't sleep. AI workflows follow up, review your calls, and keep selling while you're closed. Then the big question: which owner are you, the Builder or the Delegator? 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: Three moves this week. Ship at 80%. Fund one winner. Automate one follow-up. Drop a comment with which pillar is your bottleneck and we'll dig in live.

Missed Tuesday? The one idea from Episode 21
If you missed Episode 21, here's the one idea worth keeping. Most offers don't need a better ad. They need a conversation. Ten calls will teach you more than ten thousand views. On a call you hear the objection in their exact words, and that becomes your next hook. A checkout page just loses the sale in silence. Melissa told a story on the show that made this real. Years ago a client I really wanted picked someone else. Instead of letting it go, Melissa asked her why. Her answer: "Everything looked great. It was just a lot of information. I wasn't sure what to pick." It stung. It also changed how we present every proposal since. That's this week's homework. Get on the phone with three people who didn't buy and ask one question: what stopped you? Two rules so it doesn't wreck you: 1. Ask for opportunities, not what you did wrong. You'll actually keep doing it. 2. One answer is not a reason to change your offer. Wait until you hear the same thing from several people. Then run your notes through the after-call prompt from the show: my wins, my opportunities, my overall call flow, and the one thing to do differently next time. If you only do one thing from Episode 21, make it this one. Your turn: what's one thing a prospect told you that changed how you sell?

Episode 21 recap: Three fixes for your call funnel
Tech fought us all morning. Skool would not record, the camera would not load, and the call dropped once. We ran it anyway. Melissa said it best: that is the job. You push through the bad moment instead of calling it off. Here is the whole thing in one post. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 Most offers do not need a better ad. They need a conversation. Ten calls will tell you more than ten thousand views. You hear the objection in their exact words, and that becomes your next hook. On a call, you can fix the offer live: the price, the package, the guarantee. A checkout page just loses the sale in silence. This is not only for big offers. High ticket keeps the call forever. A small offer uses calls early to find out what people actually want, then puts that on the page. And the call is where the honest feedback lives. Melissa's reframe: "what if they tell me it sucks" becomes "what about it sucks?" That answer is data. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰: 𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 "Hey, if you're new here, I'm..." They were never new here. They were gone before you finished the sentence. Opening with your name and title works on people who already know you. That makes it a retargeting video, not a cold one. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀: 1. The hook at 0 seconds 2. One line about who you are, around 4 seconds 3. The story 4. The point Example: "If you are posting every day and getting zero booked calls, this video is for you. If you're new here, I'm Esai and I run OneAway Studios." 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀: when you fix it for cold traffic, your warm traffic performs better too. 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗱: the ads were running blind A lot of the accounts that come to us have a pixel on the website but not on the funnel page. So leads show up in the inbox, and Meta only sees clicks. Nothing after. Your ads can only find more of what they can see. If all Meta sees is clicks, it finds you more people who click and leave. Put tracking on the funnel page, the booking step, and the thank you page. Carlos added a good one: if your offer is strongly qualified, fire the lead event only on the qualified thank you page, so Meta learns from the right people.
