⚠️ GH — SOMETHING TO PAY ATTENTION TO
I came across the following post in another peptide group this morning. I'm reposting it exactly as it appeared:
"H3H Happenings
H3H Situation: NOT good. First raws were hard to get, then good raws were hard to get and now china has cracked down even harder on not allowing the sale or production of H3h. I truly cannot tell you if this is a permanent thing or how long this will be, but from what sources are saying it won’t be anytime soon. They, much like I, face imprisonment of loosing everything for merely stocking one item so most aren’t even risking it. They now have to hold a special license in order to purchase raws.
With that being said I’ve done a hard inventory of what I have left. There’s no more ordered, no more in route, no hidden stash, and it will not ever be restocked. Less than 50 kits left of 24iu and 36iu and they’re currently listed under a24iu or a36iu. Once you see that sold out button—that’s it.
This is such a good one, does so much good, but they’re yanking it out from under us. I even want to panic hoard and I have been. Even more so now."
SO I WENT LOOKING.
There is some truth behind what is being reported, but there are also some conclusions being drawn that I cannot currently validate.
China does tightly regulate HGH and other peptide hormones. Growth Hormone (GH) is specifically included in China's 2026 prohibited-substances catalog, and production, sale, import and export of these substances are controlled.
China also requires licensing and regulatory approval for legitimate manufacture and wholesale handling of peptide hormones.
But from what I've read and can find that licensing requirement isn't new. What is important is that China introduced revised Drug Administration regulations in May 2026 and has been tightening manufacturing oversight, licensing, GMP compliance and traceability.
So, it is certainly possible that manufacturers operating outside the legitimate pharmaceutical system are deciding that producing or handling HGH is no longer worth the regulatory risk.
WHAT I COULD NOT VALIDATE
I could find no official Chinese announcement saying HGH production has been banned.
I could find no official announcement saying HGH raw material can no longer be manufactured in China.
However, even though there is no "Official Chinese Government posted statement" the providers in this space weight in heavily to the validity of what is transpiring around raws and how the local governments are responding.
I could find nothing supporting the conclusion that Chinese HGH is or will permanently disappear.
In fact, legitimate pharmaceutical HGH continues to exist in China.
So right now I think the distinction is:
"Not that China has or will ban HGH" — I cannot substantiate that.
However, YESt the big BUT - China clearly looks to be increasing enforcement against unlicensed HGH manufacturing and distribution" — there is evidence supporting that clearly, as we have seen more and more vendors remove if from there product offering sheets.
And if enforcement really is tightening, it absolutely could affect the gray-market supply chain we rely upon.
WHAT DOES DARK HORSE DO WITH THIS?
We watch it.
I also think having some additional HGH inventory on hand is a reasonable conclusion given the current environment. We have seen this continuing to tighten,
My personal view - Looking ahead because we see a developing supply issue and panic hoarding
- it is prudent to stock up as it last for several years if stored properly
But I do not see HGH is disappearing forever, so panic hoarding is not the call.
We're not at "forever" based on anything I can currently validate.
Pay attention? Absolutely.
Panic? Not yet.
I'll keep watching this one.
