Finishing Well 😎
It’s Friday, and while I’m always happy to see the weekend approaching. But I also like to finish the work week well.
Today’s outfit is a little more relaxed: navy trousers, a small-check shirt, tan brogues, and a favorite watch.
Comfortable for a warm late-August office day, but still put together.
That balance is something I’ve come to appreciate more and more.
I don’t think dressing well always has to mean dressing formally.
Sometimes it is simply about taking a few extra minutes, choosing things you enjoy, and showing up in a way that feels like you.
I’ve also learned not to rush through Fridays just because the weekend is close.
There is still work to do.
Still people to appreciate.
Still another day worth enjoying.
And then, when the work is finished, I can turn my attention to family, rest, and resetting for the week ahead.
That seems like a pretty good way to close out the week.
