Knee Replacement Finally Here

Well the time finally came for my knee replacement. Scheduled for 7:00am I arrived at 5:30am for pre-op. The actual surgery only took 40 minutes but I’ll be in the hospital overnight.

It’s now 3:30pm as the spinal has been wearing off and even with receiving pain meds the pain is still quite intense. The staff wants to start my PT by getting up and walking and I am trying to gear myself to deal with that as the first step in a long PT recovery. If anyone has dealt with this I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you
