Question about the rules

I shared a good experience with a tool that helped me make my Amazon ads work. It got banned because of the rule about banning self promotion.

I feel a bit stunned because I was sharing this in good faith. It was in no way self promotion, since I have nothing to do with the company nor was this an affiliate Link. Now I don´t know how to interpret this. Is it not allowed to share good experiences? To give recommendations? Or was the issue that I included an external link? Please clarify.
