And sometimes what the parent also needs is somewhere to ask:
“𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴?”
The fear.
Stress.
Guilt.
Exhaustion.
Hypervigilance.
Self-doubt.
The reaction you keep regretting afterwards.
Supporting yourself isn’t a distraction from parenting your child.
You are part of the family’s emotional experience too.
Sometimes the next useful step isn’t another strategy for managing the child.
