Before joining this program, I felt like the scaffolding I’d relied on my whole life had suddenly collapsed. Perimenopause had shaken my confidence, my motivation and my ability to follow through on things that had always come naturally. I knew what I wanted to do to improve my health and my life, but I couldn’t understand why I felt so stuck.
Throughout my life I’d always managed. I gravitated towards interesting, creative jobs that kept me engaged, and then life became wonderfully full with raising children. Looking back, I’ve started to wonder whether I may have been unknowingly compensating for ADHD traits all along. I’m not diagnosed, but as I’ve entered perimenopause, many of the executive function challenges that I could previously manage seem to have become impossible to ignore. Whether it’s ADHD, menopause, or a combination of both, I’ve realised that understanding my brain is far more helpful than judging it.
My biggest breakthrough from the Pilot Launch was realising that I didn’t need to keep pushing harder—I needed to understand myself better. The process helped me reconnect with my values and recognise that this stage of life isn’t about becoming the person I was at 30, but about understanding who I am now.
The biggest thing this experience gave me was clarity and self-compassion. Instead of constantly asking, “What’s wrong with me?” I’ve started asking, “How does my mind work, and what do I need to thrive?” That shift has been incredibly empowering.
After going through this framework, I feel calmer, more hopeful and much less self-critical. I don’t have everything figured out, but I finally feel like I’m moving forward with curiosity instead of judgment.
I’d definitely recommend this program to anyone who feels stuck or disconnected from themselves, especially women navigating midlife or perimenopause. If the strategies that carried you through life suddenly stop working, this framework offers a compassionate place to pause, reflect and find your bearings again.
Thank you, Nick, for creating a space that encouraged reflection rather than quick fixes. It came at exactly the right time for me.
