Silent Strength Is Costing Black Women Their Mental Health📌
Who Takes Care of the Strong Woman? Who takes care of you? There is something many of us have become incredibly good at...Holding it together. We show up for our families. We handle the work. We build the business. We solve the problem. We check in on everyone else. And even when we're tired, overwhelmed, disappointed, or carrying something privately, somehow we still find a way to keep going. Being strong is a beautiful thing. But sometimes, we can become so accustomed to being "THE STRONG ONE" that we forget we're also allowed to need rest, support, softness, and care. You don't always have to push through. You don't always have to have the answer. And you don't have to wait until you're completely exhausted before giving yourself permission to slow down. Today's short resource talks about the emotional weight that can come with always feeling like you have to be strong, and what it can look like to make room for yourself too. So here's today's check-in - Where have you been asking yourself to be strong when what you actually need is support? You don't have to share the answer with us. Maybe today, it's simply a question you sit with. 💗

Hey Sis, What If You Made Fewer Decisions This Week? 🧠💛
Happy New Week Ladies! Think about how any decisions you have to make daily or even within a 6-hour window... What are we eating today? What should I wear? When am I going to work out? What should I work on first? Should I say yes to this? What needs my attention right now? Individually, these decisions may seem small. But when you're already carrying a business, career, family, relationships, responsibilities, and everything else life brings, all those little decisions add up. There's actually a name for it: decision fatigue. The more decisions we have to make, the more mentally draining it can become to keep choosing, prioritizing, and figuring things out. And sometimes, part of rest is simply giving your brain less to decide. So today's resource is a short video from Marie Forleo about decision fatigue and how making fewer choices can create more freedom. But here's the only thing we want you to do with it: Choose ONE decision you can remove from your plate this week. Maybe you decide your breakfast for the entire week. Maybe you plan your outfits ahead. Maybe you choose the same workout routine for 1 month instead of deciding every morning. Maybe you order the same groceries. Maybe you say no to something you already know you don't have capacity for. It doesn't need to be revolutionary. Just ask yourself: What can I decide once so I don't have to keep deciding it? Drop yours in the comments if you'd like. Someone else's answer might even give you an idea. And remember, we're not trying to optimize every part of our lives this month. We're simply looking for little ways to make life feel lighter so we can come back stronger!

✨🔐🩷 Permission Granted🩷 🔓✨
Tonight is not a business meeting. I want you to come with your beverage of choice. Whether that is water, tea, a cold ginger ale, or a glass of wine. I just want you to come as you are. Come tired if you need to. Come quiet if that is where you are. But just come! Because tonight I want to give you something that I had to receive for myself first. Permission to rest. A couple of days ago, someone said something that I have not been able to shake. In order to maximize, you must minimize. I sat with that. And then I looked at the last few months of my life. Twelve weeks of curriculum. Birthday parties. Anniversaries. Mother's Day. Father's Day. Hosting family. Celebrating. Running. Showing up. And doing it all while trying to build something meaningful in the margins. And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I started hearing something quiet from the Holy Spirit. Not loud. Just a whisper. Rest. You are not available for that. Cancel that meeting. Reschedule that appointment. I kept hearing it, and honestly I kept moving past it. And then during a session where we were deciding how much time to give the community between the Q1 and Q2 curriculum, our community manager Victoria said four words that stopped me in my tracks. "Just take the month off." I n that moment, something in me exhaled. Not going to lie, I wrestled with it. What it would look like from the outside. What it would mean for this community. Then I realized it did not mean changing the vision. It was permission to better steward the vision in a way that would allow me to also benefit from what God is calling me to build for you. Because what God is getting ready to do in the next season requires me to be full, not running on empty. And full requires rest. Real rest. Intentional rest. The kind that actually prepares you for what is next. So tonight I want to extend that same permission to you. For the next four weeks, we are not dropping new lessons. We are not adding anything to your plate. We are giving you space. Space to finish what you started. Space to breathe. Space to hear God more clearly without the noise of keeping up.

Quick Question: What Do You Do Just for FUN? 👀
Not for your business. Not because the kids need it. Not because it's good for your career. Not because you're building your personal brand. Not even because it's going to make you a better, more productive person. 😂 What do you genuinely enjoy doing simply because you enjoy it? One thing we're making room for in this season of rest is joy. Because somewhere between building, working, serving, caring for people, meeting deadlines and handling all the responsibilities of everyday life, it's surprisingly easy to lose touch with the things that make us feel like ourselves. Maybe you love decorating or planning events. Maybe it's gardening, baking, painting, reading fiction, dancing, doing your makeup, photography, trying new restaurants, travelling, puzzles, watching ridiculously dramatic reality TV shows like me 😂... whatever it is. Today, there is absolutely nothing to complete. I just want to know, What is something you love doing just because it makes you happy? Drop yours below. You might even find someone else in the Collective who loves it too. 💛

Quick Question: What Do You Do Just for FUN? 👀
Sis...Taking care of your skin is just as important ✨
Okay Ladies, let’s talk skincare! I think one struggle many of us can agree on is that sometimes our skin can be a little… tricky. And if you're one of those people who wakes up every morning with effortlessly clear, glowing skin and absolutely no skin concerns, you have two options: 1. Drop the skincare routine in the comments immediately. 😂 2. Actually, there is no option two. We need the routine. For the rest of us, skincare can sometimes feel like another thing we're trying to figure out. - What products do I actually need? - What order am I supposed to use them in? - Do I really need a 10-step routine? - And why did something that worked perfectly three months ago suddenly stop working?! But as we're talking about rest and taking better care of ourselves this month, we also wanted to make room for the little rituals that help us pour back into ourselves. And skincare can be one of them. So today, we're sharing a simple skincare basics video from Dr. Alexis Stephens, a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in skin of color. She breaks down how to approach a basic morning and nighttime routine without making it unnecessarily complicated. Because self-care doesn't always have to mean taking an entire day off or booking a spa appointment. Sometimes it's simply those few minutes in the morning or at night when you slow down, look after yourself, and do something that's just for you. 💛 Now, back to the important business: What's one skincare product you swear by? Drop it below. And clear-skin ladies, we're watching you especially closely. 😂👇🏽
