👋 Welcome to The Table.
You're here because you want a bigger, steadier piece of public and government construction work — and you're tired of watching it go to the same handful of firms. Start here: 1. Read "Start Here: How Public Work Actually Works" in the Classroom. 2. Introduce yourself in 👋 Introductions — what you build, where, and the one public job you'd most like to win. 3. Watch 📡 for this week's Solicitation Radar and your first bid teardown. The goal is simple: get you shortlisted, get you awarded, and build your backlog. Glad you're in. — Justin Shawler

🏆 Post your wins here — big and small
This is the trophy case. Won a bid? Got shortlisted on an SOQ? Landed a first meeting with an agency? Signed a JOC contract? Post it here — every size counts. Two reasons this matters: First, wins are contagious. Seeing someone else land a job you thought was out of reach is the fastest way to believe you can too. Second, your win teaches the room. Tell us what you bid, who the owner was, and the one thing that made the difference. That's the stuff you can't get from a webinar. I'll kick it off in the comments. Your turn next — drop your most recent win, even if it's just "finally got on the plan-holder list."
🚩 New here? Start with these 3 things
Welcome — glad you pulled up a seat. Do these three things and you'll be plugged in: 1) Read the pinned Welcome post so you know how The Table works. 2) Introduce yourself in the Introductions channel — tell us what you build, where you work, and the one public job you'd most like to win. 3) Drop your #1 target agency or region in the Solicitation Radar so I can watch for opportunities that fit you. That's it. The more specific you are about what you want to win, the more useful this place gets for you.

📡 The Solicitation Radar — first drop this week
This is where the weekly Radar lands — fresh JOC, CMAR, and design-build opportunities worth a look, with a quick read on each. First full drop this week. Chasing a specific agency or region? Drop it in the comments and I'll keep an eye out for you.

👋 I'll go first. I'm Justin Shawler.
— I estimate, bid and Manage Business Development for public/agency construction (JOC, CMAR, design-build). I've spent years inside coefficients, SOQs, and bid schedules. I built The Table to hand contractors the playbook the winners use. Your turn: what do you build, where, and what's the one public contract you'd most like to win?
