🎨 Creative Friday: Make Something Bad on Purpose
Yep. Bad. 😂 Today we’re taking perfection completely off the table. Pick something creative and give yourself 10 minutes to make the messiest, weirdest, least impressive version of it you can. Maybe you: 💜 Doodle without erasing 💜 Make a collage with random scraps 💜 Write a terrible little poem 💜 Paint without trying to make it “look right” 💜 Decorate a journal page with no theme 💜 Take five photos of ordinary things that catch your eye 💜 Start a craft with absolutely no plan The only rule? You are not allowed to judge it while you’re making it. Creative time does not always need a purpose, a finished product, or something worth posting. Sometimes the whole point is just to play. And honestly, “this is kind of ridiculous but I’m having fun” is a perfectly good creative goal. 😂 ✨ Today’s challenge: Make something imperfect on purpose. Then tell us below: What did you make- and did letting go of perfection make it more fun? 💜

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES & BOUNDARIES
Welcome to The Unscripted Mom Collective! This is a safe, uplifting space for real moms living real life — without perfection. To keep things cozy, kind, and supportive for everyone, please read and follow these guidelines. Be Kind This is a safe space. No mom-shaming, negativity, or judgment. We’re all doing our best. If you disagree, do so respectfully or simply scroll on by. Hate speech, bullying, name-calling, and passive-aggressive comments will be removed. Real Life Happens Messy posts are welcome here — because motherhood is messy. Share the highs and the lows. We celebrate progress, not perfection. No filters required, no guilt allowed. Respect Privacy What’s shared here stays here. No screenshots, reposting, or sharing other members’ stories outside this community. This is how we build trust and connection. Encourage Each Other A kind comment can make someone’s day. Offer support, empathy, or a virtual high five when someone shares something vulnerable. If you can’t offer kindness, please choose silence. No Promotions Without Permission You can share your wins and milestones — but please don’t post links to your products, blogs, or social media unless: - It’s in a designated thread (like “Share Your Wins Wednesday”) - It’s specifically approved by Kristen or a moderator - It’s on your profile bio only Affiliate links, self-promotion, or recruiting of any kind without permission will be deleted. No Spam or Soliciting Please don’t send private messages for sales, coaching, or collaborations unless it’s invited. We’re here to build genuine friendships — not inbox anxiety. Keep It Family-Friendly This community welcomes moms from all walks of life. Please avoid profanity, explicit content, or graphic images. Real talk is encouraged — but keep it respectful and clean. Post in the Right Place Use the appropriate category when you post (Unscripted Living, Creative Corner, etc.) so everyone can find what they need easily. When in doubt, post in the main feed — we’ll move it if needed.

🌿 What Do You Want More Of?
Midweek check-in- but we’re keeping it simple today. Instead of asking what needs fixing, ask yourself: What do I want a little more of this week? More quiet? More laughter? More patience? More energy? More creativity? More time outside? More help? More room to just be? You do not need a giant plan to move toward it. Pick one word and let it be your reminder for the rest of the week. 💭 Today’s reflection: “I want more ______.” Then choose one tiny way to make space for it today. No overthinking. No perfect answer. Just one word that feels right. 💜 What’s your word this Wednesday?
🌿 What Do You Want More Of?
🌟 What Did You Handle Better Than You Think?
Today’s tiny win does not have to be something you finished. Maybe it was the way you handled something. You stayed calmer than usual. You asked for help instead of doing it all yourself. You changed the plan when the original one clearly was not happening. You let something wait. You chose the easy option without feeling guilty about it. You gave yourself a little more patience. Those count too. ✨ Today’s challenge: Finish this sentence: “I handled ______ better than I normally would.” No downplaying it. No immediately following it with everything you still need to improve. Just let yourself have the win. 💜 Sometimes growth is quiet enough that we almost miss it. What’s one thing you handled better than you think?
