Welcome!
Welcome, glad you're here. Got a decompression table you're trying to fill? Or one on the way? You're in the right room. Most clinics buy this machine and let it sit in the corner. Here we turn it into a practice, the honest way. No hard sell, no putting everyone on the table, no discounting your way to a yes. Just the system that took me from one bed to four across two clinics. Start here. Introduce yourself in the comments and tell us who you are and where you practise, whether you're on one bed or adding decompression, and what you want to get out of being here. Ask anything. Script stuck? Price question? Patient you're not sure about? Post it, someone here has already been through it. Share what's working too, your win is someone else's breakthrough. And turn on notifications, the good conversations move fast. Ready for the full system? The Decompression Blueprint course walks through the whole thing step by step in the Classroom, and it comes with 3 months of the Shift tech stack free. Not ready to buy yet? You can trial the stack free for 14 days at stack.shiftspinalhealth.com.au. I'll read every intro and say hi. Let's fill some tables. Jonathan

Quick FAQ, before you ask (or ask anyway, I read every comment)
Who's this for? Chiros with a decompression table they want to fill, or one on the way, who want to run it as a real practice instead of a machine in the corner. What do I actually learn? The whole patient journey around the bed, day one to graduation: the first visit, the report of findings that gets a yes without a hard sell, how to price and fund it, how to track progress with an objective score so patients stay, and how to keep the table full and add beds. Nine modules, taught end to end. Is it theory or can I use it now? Use it now. It includes scripts, the report of findings, pricing, and the day-one flow you can run on a real patient this week. Do I need a particular machine or software? No. It's tool-agnostic, so it works with whatever table and system you already use. How much is it, and is it a subscription? $997, one-time. No subscription; work through it at your own pace. How is decompression funded? Can patients claim? The program is self-funded (weekly direct debit or pay upfront). There's no separate health-fund item number for decompression, but you claim a visit you deliver as a chiro, as the chiropractic consult it is. Funds vary, so check your own. The course shows exactly how we handle the money side. What's the Shift tech stack, do I need it? Optional. The method stands on its own. If you want the software (digital report, score and tracker, patient app, letter writer, live dashboard), it comes free for 3 months with the course. Not ready to buy? Try it free for 14 days at stack.shiftspinalhealth.com.au. I'm not in Australia; does it still apply? The clinical model and the system are universal. The examples show the Australian setup, and there's a US edition that covers insurance and personal injury. Still have a question? Drop it below, and I'll answer it.

The 9 Modules in The Blueprint
I've learned that Skool doesn't reveal the modules if you don't buy the course. I'll list them here: What's inside (9 modules) 1. The case for decompression: why a full bed is worth it and why most sit half empty 2. The clinical model: who's a candidate, dosing the care, and an objective score 3. The conversion system: the report of findings that gets a yes without selling 4. Pricing and payment: a self-funded, cash-first model, upfront or weekly 5. The economics of one bed: break-even and real profit per bed 6. The operating system: the few systems that make it run without living in your head 7. Scaling the practice: fill, systemise, then add bed two, three and a second clinic 8. Keeping beds full: reactivation, referrals and when to turn on paid ads 9. Compliance and staying clean: honest claims, consent, records It teaches you to run the whole patient journey around a decompression bed, from the first visit to graduation, so the table fills itself and the practice scales. The honest way, no hard sell.
Hey everyone! 👋

Better retention from a single number
We spend a lot of energy worrying about how to keep people in care. Better reminders, nicer follow-ups, the occasional guilt text. But most of the drop-off happens for the same reasons: the pain eases, motivation dips, and the patient decides they are "good enough" before the job is actually done. Reminders don't work with patients, but a carrot to chase does. In my clinic, I call it the Shift Score. One honest number out of 100, captured at regular intervals and shown to the patient every time. It makes progress visible, and people stay when they can see they are improving. It also keeps everyone honest, because "I feel okay" and "I am actually rebuilt" are two very different numbers. We re-score every four weeks. It serves as a self-check that things are progressing the way I want them to, and keeps patients motivated for the long game. What tests are you currently using at the start of care and at your progress evaluations?
