The 9 Modules in The Blueprint
I've learned that Skool doesn't reveal the modules if you don't buy the course. I'll list them here: What's inside (9 modules) 1. The case for decompression: why a full bed is worth it and why most sit half empty 2. The clinical model: who's a candidate, dosing the care, and an objective score 3. The conversion system: the report of findings that gets a yes without selling 4. Pricing and payment: a self-funded, cash-first model, upfront or weekly 5. The economics of one bed: break-even and real profit per bed 6. The operating system: the few systems that make it run without living in your head 7. Scaling the practice: fill, systemise, then add bed two, three and a second clinic 8. Keeping beds full: reactivation, referrals and when to turn on paid ads 9. Compliance and staying clean: honest claims, consent, records It teaches you to run the whole patient journey around a decompression bed, from the first visit to graduation, so the table fills itself and the practice scales. The honest way, no hard sell.

Better retention from a single number
We spend a lot of energy worrying about how to keep people in care. Better reminders, nicer follow-ups, the occasional guilt text. But most of the drop-off happens for the same reasons: the pain eases, motivation dips, and the patient decides they are "good enough" before the job is actually done. Reminders don't work with patients, but a carrot to chase does. In my clinic, I call it the Shift Score. One honest number out of 100, captured at regular intervals and shown to the patient every time. It makes progress visible, and people stay when they can see they are improving. It also keeps everyone honest, because "I feel okay" and "I am actually rebuilt" are two very different numbers. We re-score every four weeks. It serves as a self-check that things are progressing the way I want them to, and keeps patients motivated for the long game. What tests are you currently using at the start of care and at your progress evaluations?

Are you doing rehab with your decompression patients?
Here's how we deliver the rehab at Shift. What are you doing? I'd love to know! This is a demo of our Shift Rebuild App. It's loaded with a 12 stage progressive strength and mobility program that patients carry with them on their phone. Give it a try in the Shift Stack if you're looking for a way to deliver exercises that patients adhere to.

The letter writer tool in The Shift Stack
Hey friends, One of the things I started doing to lift our customer service is sending each patient a summary of their first visit. It's almost impossible for them to remember everything we covered, so it's a useful reminder, and it reassures them they're in the right place with a doctor who cares. To make it easier, I built software to automate it. It worked so well that I broadened it to GP care plans, WorkCover, and NDIS reports. It's flexible with how you work. If you're on Cliniko, it pulls the consult note, imaging, and intake form straight across for you. If you're not, you can just copy and paste the details in by hand. Either way, it drafts the letter, and you review it before anything goes out. It's in the Shift Stack if you'd like to try it yourself, free for 14 days. Students of the course get it free for 3 months when they buy the course.
