MANDATE MONDAY | THE MANDATE REMAINS
Jesus said, “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” (John 4:34) When we read what I call the Prophet’s Mandate in Jeremiah 1:10, we see the assignments, functions, and mentalities that govern those called to the prophetic office: to root out, pull down, destroy, throw down, build, and plant. When you bring these passages together, you begin to see the drive, passion, priority, and discipline that come with purpose. Jesus was governed by what He was sent to do. This is where mandate moves beyond something we occasionally do and becomes something that governs who we are. So here is the question for this Mandate Monday: Is your mandate showing up in your everyday life? Paul told Timothy, “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:4) Life will get busy. Responsibilities will increase. Problems will arise. Schedules will become demanding. There will always be something competing for your attention. But the mandate remains. Over the past few months, I have seen this in my own life. My life has been busy. My responsibilities have increased. There have been multiple things requiring my attention, but the mandate remains. I am still called to educate, equip, and empower. I am still called to develop people. I am still called to raise prophetic leaders. I am still called to build what Heaven has assigned to my hands. Busyness does not cancel the mandate. Pressure does not change the mandate. A difficult season does not erase the mandate. Sometimes the greatest evidence that you understand your mandate is not what you do when everything is convenient. It is what you continue to prioritize when everything is competing for your attention. There comes a point where you must ask yourself: What has God sent me to do, and is my life arranged around finishing His work? Your calendar should reveal the mandate. Your decisions should reveal the mandate. Your priorities should reveal the mandate. Your relationships should respect the mandate. Your stewardship should advance the mandate. Because when you truly understand what you have been sent to do, the mandate becomes more than an assignment you carry. It becomes a conviction that carries you.
MANDATE MONDAY
Your mandate is bigger than what you do, it is connected to what God has entrusted you to carry into the earth. Clarity comes when you recognize the people, problems, places, and purposes that consistently pull on what God has placed within you. Stop measuring your assignment by someone else’s movement and start paying attention to the burden God keeps bringing back to you. What is one assignment, burden, or area of influence you believe God has consistently placed on your heart?
Prophetic Intelligence
Revelation is not the end of prophetic ministry. What you do with what God reveals determines whether revelation produces transformation.
Mantled for Movement Saturday
You were not mantled to remain stationary. Everything God develops in you is preparing you to carry something beyond you. Your gift may get attention, but your mantle carries responsibility. And eventually, responsibility requires movement. There comes a point when preparation must become participation, revelation must become implementation, and what God has placed within you must begin serving the people, places, and purposes connected to your assignment. Some of you have been learning. Some of you have been healing. Some of you have been developing. Some of you have been waiting. But could it be that your next season is not about receiving something else, but moving with what you have already received? This is one of the reasons The Prophets University exists. We are not building a community of people who only know prophetic things. We are developing people who can responsibly carry what God has entrusted to them. What do you believe God has been developing in you that you now need to begin moving in? Drop your answer below. Alumni and current students, I especially want to hear from you. You have been mantled. Now prepare to move. #TheProphetsUniversity #MantledForMovement #TheSending #ThePropheticProfessor
Prophetic Dominion Prophetic Dominion: Learning to Govern, Not Just Gather Information
One of the greatest misunderstandings surrounding the prophetic is believing it exists only to reveal hidden things. While revelation is important, revelation without wisdom, maturity, and obedience produces very little transformation. Prophetic dominion is the ability to receive Heaven's intelligence and steward it with Kingdom responsibility. It is not about becoming more mystical. It is about becoming more mature. God does not reveal things to entertain us. He reveals them to prepare us, position us, and partner with us in accomplishing His will in the earth. Ask yourself: • What has God been consistently saying to me? • Have I acted on the last instruction He gave me? • Am I pursuing encounters, or am I pursuing obedience? Remember, authority grows where faithfulness is practiced. The prophetic is not measured by how much you know. It is measured by how faithfully you steward what God has entrusted to you. Discussion Question: What is one prophetic instruction or biblical principle that changed the direction of your life because you chose to obey it? I look forward to reading your insights. Let's sharpen one another as we continue growing in wisdom, discernment, and prophetic maturity.
