Today was a great day! I was at the sanctuary, so I didn’t get through everything on my list, but that’s expected on sanctuary days. I did get some photo editing and content done, and made calls to movers to get quotes and get that scheduled. After posting, I will do my nightly meditation, and get to bed. 4 AM wake up, hikes, pack care, and 100+ degree weather has me wiped!

I also received an incredible gift today. Drax, the wolf I was most bonded with (my soul wolf) passed away unexpectedly three months ago. A woman who’s an artist and has been involved in rescue work painted my favorite photo of me with Drax and Addy, and I was surprised with it. It brought me to tears. Drax was such a light in my life, and I miss him so much. A dear friend also gifted me a canvas print of that same photo for my birthday, and I can’t wait to hang them side by side in my new home.

Today, I’m feeling grateful. ❤️
