I didn’t have time for my session this evening as I was far too busy sleeping whilst trying to convince my daughter to do the same. However, I was involved in a medical emergency earlier today, and can credit my large increase in cardio and strength for enabling me to keep chest compressions up for long enough to get a detectable rhythm that the defib was willing to shock, after first telling me there was no electrical activity in the heart, so no point. Chap is in hospital, but is expected to make a full recovery. When basic skills, experience and spontaneous intense physical exertion collide!
