We will pay you to get your case studies
We will pay to run your ads and send your emails. AND you will get paid a recurring commission for any new members your work brings in. Now we've got rid of all the freeloaders I can focus on making your time here more valuable. Everyone knows the hardest part about starting your copywriting career is getting your first client win and case study. And it's the part that takes the longest because you have to: - Get good enough to be able to deliver work that has a chance to win - Convince a business to take a chance on a copywriter with no experience - Deliver the work - Make sure they use your work and do it correctly - Make sure they tell you the results And even if you get a business to agree to give you a shot, that doesn't mean you'll get your first case study. You might have to go through this experience several times before you get your first client win. So we're going to cut that time to PRETTY MUCH ZERO. Here's how: - We will allow paying members to create ads and write emails promoting Copywriting Launchpad - We will spend our own money to run your ads and send your emails to our list - When we run one of your ads or send one of your emails, we will use your referral link so you get a commission on any new members who sign up Conditions: - Only current paying members are eligible - You have to be a paying member for more than 1 full month, that's 2 billing cycles - You have to deliver complete ads. We will not pay for any graphic design or video editing. We will only pay for the ad spend - Ads and emails have to be reviewed and approved before we use them. It's the same process as getting your copy critiqued. You post copy in the community, we give feedback, and you revise until it's useable What to do if you're not eligible: - If you're not a paying member, upgrade to paid. This applies to legacy Copyskills members too. I recommend the annual subscription because it's 50% off and you'll save $300. - If you're a paying member and this is your first month here, use it to get good at creative strategy and email copywriting

Watched your paid Mindset Training yet?
Really set aside 2.5 hours tomorrow guys… (trust me). I know everyone’s busy on here- and myself included have tons on. But flipping heck if you want to level yourself up permanently I implore you to sit down for 2 hours and 30 minutes and switch on Mike Cernovich’s training video. (exclusive here) He gives you what 5 weeks following a mindset program genuinely struggles to do (speaking from experience unfortunately). The whole lot- everything you need. In less than 3 hours. He quotes about 7 bangers of books from Jung to ones most people have never heard of in that video- almost all he’s read. And all he’s carefully extracted what actually matters from, used himself, then compiling only the best into a recording you can watch an unlimited amount of times. I mean being honest, you’ve got about 11,001 books on mindset out there- sure you know what you need to focus on to actually get stronger mentally? However you’re feeling guys- and hope everyone’s well and killing it, if you need a boost or some support- you’ve paid for that video and it’s in your corner. 🤝 PS. Got myself a second hand copy and had a blast reading through this random guy’s notes. I don’t know for certain but it looks like this person started Mike’s book and started scribbling out sentences a quarter way though before rage-quitting😆😆 Could be wrong maybe he finished the whole thing and scribbling out passages is his way of engaging with the work- but Mike’s advice definitely isn’t for the faint of heart. Or people willing to stick to how they’ve always been. 🦍

How I learnt to copywrite high converting scripts like Nabeel Azeez
Many of you know that you should be studying more copy, especially if you want to become a better copywriter. But you're not, and you come up with 10 other reasons why your progress is stagnating. But can you really be blamed? If you follow the conventional wisdom, having to handwrite the whole reference piece is just the first step, and it takes forever. By the time you finally get to studying the copy and annotating, you're already tapping out. Don't get me wrong, handwriting copy is a great way to learn because it slows you down and gives you room to think. But how much thinking are you doing? How often do you try and mindlessly copy the words across without thinking about much more than the word itself? You're probably more busy daydreaming about your copywriting life of hella cash, a nice place, and flash cars. Anyway, I've been there, and this is how I've made studying and annotating copy so frictionless it's honestly fun. And you spend more time thinking about the structure of the copy you're looking at, and writing your thoughts about that, than focused on the pain in your hand as you write for hours. The goal isn't to write copy for the sake of it. The goal is to deeply understand the persuasive structure that's doing the selling and the subtext that makes it work. So instead of studying a great piece once and moving on you build a reference you can return to, reinforce what you noticed and make sure the time you spent studying never goes to waste. With enough repetition the patterns in copy structure become familiar and you start using them automatically in your own work. And every time you come back to use the same reference you notice more than you did before. Each time you use that structure to create something new you will understand it a little deeper. This is how you can do that. /// (practice copy for the day^, feel free to make copy critique) /// In the video, please review this example where I broke down the script structure of one of Alicia's videos. This example shows what you can get out of breaking down video scripts. The essence of creative strategy.

Genuinely love the idea of this @Jacob Ross I can see the time you’ve put into it. I do a lot of hand copying myself writing case studies in B2B myself and this honestly seems quite exciting! I’d love to give it a go. Popping over a DM now mate👊
The "Info Trap": How do you organize your notes so you actually use them?
We all fall into the info-hoarding trap. We read books, binge podcasts, and take endless notes. But when it’s time to execute, those insights stay buried in Notion, Docs, or journals. I'm refining my workflow to bridge the gap between capturing knowledge and actually applying it. I'm curious to hear your advice: What is your exact system for organizing notes so you actually use them?

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve heard on the subject is from one of my marketing mentors Instead of organising notes in ways you remember- consume things with the intention of using what’s helpful practically. So a good example if your consuming course content- think while doing- “where can I apply this today?” And then from there add to your to do list Hope this was helpful mate!
Happy Clients
Hey all! Quick win from me to share! Popped onto LinkedIn today and it felt really good getting a tag and a lovely comment from a client I’ve written a case study for and interviewed! (This was not a freelance / business client but a customer of the startup I’m the marketing exec for) Exciting to work with these awesome businesses! link: https://labdesk.co.uk/blog/how-jcs-nuclear-solutions-halved-time-lost-to-it-issues-with-labdesks-microsoft-365-accelerator A NUGGET of wisdom I will share if anyone fancies writing case studies is to make the customer (Oliver in this case) be perceived as intelligent, smart, and trustworthy. Make the person you are writing about look good- not just your company for helping them.
