As the community has grown, it’s become clear that we’re not all standing at the same leverage point in the industry; and that’s a good thing. So we’re evolving the platform to reflect that reality. From here on, Apex Arborum will branch into two focused pathways: Builders & Owners For those running businesses, carrying risk, making decisions under pressure, and trying to build something that doesn’t eat its own future. Climbers & Crew For those on the tools, in the tree, on the ground, and on the path toward becoming undeniable on site and unignorable in their careers. Before you move into either segment, I strongly recommend completing the current available modules. They lay the foundation—mindset, belief, identity, and the reality of the system we’re operating inside. From there, you’ll choose the path that fits where you’re at right now. A word on what’s coming next: This new year marks a shift not just for the platform, but for me personally. Apex Arborum exists because of a moment that broke me. A moment where the reality of what I was building, what I was contributing to, and what I believed collided hard. I went from being an owner-climber chasing efficiency and growth, to being forced to confront the fact that success by the industry’s definition was hollowing out the very thing I cared about. That moment didn’t make me a “canopy activist” overnight. It dismantled my thinking first. I had to change my own mindset. Then my partner’s. Then my immediate circle. Then my staff. And it wasn’t clean. It wasn’t linear. There were wins, losses, overdrawn accounts, ego deaths, bad calls, good calls, and a lot of nights wondering if I’d made a catastrophic mistake. The truth is: not all things go as planned, even with the best advice, the best intentions, and relentless effort. I’m now living a truth I hoped wouldn’t be real—but is. And instead of pretending I’ve got it all figured out, I’m choosing to share the whole thing. The rise, the fall, the doubt, the conviction, and the fight to build something better anyway.
