🇺🇸☀️ Monday Blessings | Labor Day | September 7 🙏❤️📖
Good morning, friends, and Happy Labor Day! Today feels a little different than most Mondays. For many of us, it means a day away from work, a slower morning, maybe an extra cup of coffee, a cookout later today, time with family and friends, or simply a chance to sit down and rest for a while. And this morning, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to spend our lives working for the next thing. The next paycheck. The next project. The next weekend. The next vacation. The next season of life. There is nothing wrong with working hard. In fact, Scripture tells us that even our everyday work can be done for the Lord. 📖 Today’s Scripture “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Colossians 3:23 ESV I really like that reminder because most of us probably don’t think of our everyday work as something spiritual. But it can be. The job you go to every morning. The meals you prepare. The home you take care of. The grass you mow. The family you provide for. The children or grandchildren you help. The person you serve when nobody notices. When we do those things faithfully and with the right heart, even ordinary work can honor God. ❤️ Something I’m Reminding Myself Today Hard work is important. But so is rest. God didn’t create us to run nonstop. Sometimes we need a day when the alarm doesn’t matter quite as much. A morning when the coffee lasts a little longer. A meal around the table with people we love. An afternoon on the porch. A round of golf. A fishing pole by the water. Grandkids running around the yard. A cookout with family and friends. Or maybe just a quiet afternoon doing absolutely nothing. If you have the opportunity to rest today, enjoy it without feeling guilty about it. And if you’re one of the many people working today while the rest of us enjoy the holiday, thank you. ❤️ 🙏 A Few Things I Hope We’ll Do Today 🙏 Thank God for the ability and opportunity to work. ❤️ Thank someone whose hard work has made a difference in your life.

HAPPY NEW MONTH, A NEW MONTH, A NEW STEP FORWARD
A new month isn’t just another page on the calendar. It’s another opportunity to grow, improve, and move closer to the life and business you’re building. You may not have everything figured out yet. You may still be working through challenges, refining your strategy, or wondering what your next move should be. But remember: You don’t need to make 100 changes. You just need to make the RIGHT next step. This month, ask yourself: What can I do better? What have I been postponing? What opportunity have I been overlooking? What small action today could create a bigger result tomorrow? Growth rarely happens in one giant leap. It happens through small decisions, consistent action, and the willingness to keep moving when the results aren’t immediate. So, whatever you’re building, your business, your income, your skills, or your future, take the next step. Don’t let September pass without giving yourself a reason to look back and say: “That was the month I moved forward.” Happy New Month! What’s ONE step you’re taking this month to move closer to your next level?

**Struggling through life?** 🥴
Enjoy Being Human is a community for people who want to understand themselves better, struggle less, and learn practical skills for being human. 😎 Life will life and the brain will brain, I say.... Welcome to Earth. 🌎 In Enjoy Being Human, we talk about it all. July we were **Learning About Discomfort** 😣 August we've been spending the month admiring and enjoying this whole being-human thing. ✨ September: back-to-school time. **Tiny Experiments.** ✏️ Class is in session starting 9/1. (Don't worry. There are no grades, you can never be considered tardy, and no one gets sent to detention.) **Sunday Lives** are where we dig into how your brain and nervous system work so you can understand yourself better and have more say in how you navigate your life. And the **Classroom? There's a LOT in there.** That's intentional. 😊 Life is not step 1, 2, 3. You aren't supposed to do everything or go in order. Life gives us a lot to navigate on the daily so this is a safe place to practice looking around, settling the overwhelm, and choosing one thing that feels useful to you in the moment. I'm Ahmy. I'm a Life Guide, Licensed Therapist, brain nerd, science lover, working intuitive and channel. I'm also goofy, a little sassy, and have spent a whole lot of years figuring out how to struggle less with being human myself. If you're struggling through life and would like some practical skills that can help you struggle less... **Come join us! 💞** Would love to have you practicing human stuff alongside us. skool.com/enjoy-being-human/about
