I'm based out of La Pine, Oregon and excited by the idea of getting into forestry mulching, fire mitigation, snow removal and construction prep work; the goal is to build a family empire for my kids to step into at some point (if they want). I grew up in the country and have done a few blue collar jobs including my fair share of pouring molten metal in my dad's foundry but as a professional in the web design / big tech space for the last 16 years (I'm 40), I'm really ready to get back to working with my hands and off my computer all day. Just had two people cancel on me after they told me to show up whenever I’m ready. Then two days or a week later they cancel.

Started running Facebook ads 3 weeks ago, as of today we have $77k quoted jobs , and $7500 on the books First job starts this Friday. The work is definitely there!

Just fired off a proposal and estimate to a client who reached out recently. This was a client that responded to my recent Facebook add and completed my service request form. After originally emailing them back and not hearing a word from them I decided to send a follow-up text. Good thing I did because my email had gone straight to spam. This quote was for clearing approximately 1.5 acres. Pair that with another quote that's getting ready to go out and I'll have $20,000 in active quotes just for July alone. Even though I have yet to collect a deposit for anything, I still can't help but feel the excitement building!

Meant to post this earlier. Clearing edges of a field for a client. Probably little under 3 acres of work. Did offer a 20% promotional discount as an enticement, but still shout net very adequate hourly profit for getting a 5 star review and some B reel for FB ads.
