EBay Below Standard Account
Hi everyone, I’m looking for a bit of advice with my eBay account and was hoping someone here might have been in a similar situation. My account is currently classed as Below Standard because of some late orders from over a year ago when I previously used the account. I’ve recently started selling again and have now had 2–3 orders that were dispatched and delivered on time, but my account is still showing as Below Standard. The problem I’m having is that I’m getting virtually no sales at all. I’ve tried reducing prices, running discounts and using coupon codes, but because the account is Below Standard, eBay won’t let me use Promoted Listings at the moment. I’m trying to get the account back on track and build up some positive selling history, but it feels like a bit of a catch-22 when I need more successful orders to improve the account, but I’m struggling to get any sales in the first place. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there anything you did that helped improve your sales while you were Below Standard, or any advice on the quickest/best way to get the account back to Above Standard? Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Aaron, don't worry the hole isn't as deep as it seems, it's easier to get out of it than you think. I felt like this before when I wrongfully was made below standard my sales dropped 60%. I had to sell stuff to break even to get the account back, literally accept every offer that's more than what you've paid to get it back on the 20th of September

Levis help
Can anyone help advise if this is 'run of the mill' Levis or anything particularly special? And what sort of price you think it may command? I can't find any comparison online but thinking it's unusual to have been made in France? Cheers

Looks to be an early 90s denim vest from February - 1991. Got to be weary with samples with Levis with modern I don't know about vintage I would search up on forums and see if other people have had an issue. Doesn't look like anything really rare or anything just a denim vest with some details, it's black tho which is very desirable at the moment with vintage levis

EBay card reader
After watching @Jamie Sullivans live the other day on replay whilst at work, he mentioned card machines / readers for car boots and that. For anyone that’s going to eBay open, could anyone ask them if EBay would ever do card machines? Designed to only work with business eBay sellers when out in person selling, be that car boots, fairs, fetes etc, depending what you sell. So we know the main ones like sumup, stripe, even banks have them now for your phones. Could eBay do one, 1.5% transaction fee +20p eBay fee per sale. Or even 50p per sale with 0% transaction fee. Even if it’s on the eBay app so you can have it on your phone. Links directly to your ebay account. Would that be something people would use? Poll below. Also would that be something someone could ask at the eBay open?

Yeah I think card readers will come to boot sales in future but they will be given out by the organises of the boot sale and they get a fee from each transaction instead of a pitch selling fee, if the sale isn't on eBay I wouldn't want to give them fees they aren't doing the advertising to get us a sale if we are in a cold field
How do I know if it's fake or not?
I picked this up recently and to me it looks like a real 2003 reissue of the original Cascade run off Geisha tee. Just wanted to run it by you guys first before I list it.

Hi Daniel, what a find. Although this is a reissue it still commands a hefty premium. Under the faded Nike inner label is there a smaller label about a half inch in size?

@Daniel Holbrooke there should be a smaller one at the very end of that roll of labels under them all. If not the main label looks legit to me so do the under tags
