Day 1 Challenge
Hi all, I’m Katie & Bear is my beautiful CobberDog. We’ve had her since she was 2.5yrs old & she has just turned 4. She is lovely & gentle however she has a number of insecurities in the outside world - people, bikes, strollers etc and is terrified to leave home when it means getting in the car. Walkys has helped me understand where Bear is coming from & has given me hope right from our initial assessment. My current goal is to help improve her confidence, focusing on getting into the car.

Hey legends 🙌🏻 I’m Nath and this is Polly aka Pol, Popo 5.0. The Pollinator… Some of you may know Pol from our 1:1s as my distraction or demo dog and she’s an angel but completely full of energy. We’re currently working on some fun movements into position to tighten our engagement and push our routine boundaries.

Day 1 Challenge
Hi Walkys family my name is Brittany this my almost one year old standard poodle Gwen named after spider girl by my Spider man fanatic son. I grew up with horses and Whippets my entire life and never in a million years thought I’d have a poodle but here we are. We landed on a poodle as we wanted a dog for my son who was struggling with confidence and anxiety issue. He really wanted a dog that would run and play all day, fetch a ball as well as being his best pal. We did a lot of research on different breeds but ultimately landed on a poodle due to their temperament, intelligence and retrieving instincts. I actually dog walked for Gwen’s breeder as a teenager and fell in love with Gwen’s grandmother a poodle named Paris so this was also a big factor in our decision in the end. Gwen is an incredibly intelligent, she very keen to learn new things, thrives off having a job to do and she definitely lives up to her breed instincts as a keen retriever she will drop things in your lap all day given half the chance 😂. When we first got Gwen she was a little over exuberant hence we needed a little guidance on how to manage her energy which is why we had joined Skool initially and have now almost completed the calm kickstart. Our ultimate goal for Gwen would be to have a calm family dog that we can take out on adventures without her trying to knock everyone off their feet, with the help of walkys we are already making huge strides going from an over exuberant dog that would pull you in every direction on walks trying to greet everyone and everything that passed by to being able to let my 3 year old daughter walk her confidently.

@Brittany Hardie lol same here with the anxiety but for my husband. He renovated the house we bought about 5 years ago himself . New furniture and all. Well pretty much every has a Cas trade mark on everything. I am highly confident oir dogs will be the best behaved in the Illawarra one day🙂 Im so glad Gewn has helped your son. Nothing worse than worring about our kiddos. Mine are all 18+ now. I have my fur baby though😍

Hi all I’m Kayla and my goofy high on life water loving lab is Rosie. Rosie is now 11 months old. We had a few months set back in training as my nan became unwell and needed me to care for her until her passing. This is our first lab an we are finding the way she works different to other dogs (plz tell me I’m not alone in this?) We enjoy walks while my two kids 11&8 ride bikes along the lake We are working on getting back on track with training and thanks to walkies we are seeing RESULTS! Rosie has increased her threshold around other dogs and gained duration and distance in her stay 🥳 it’s only a small win but I’ll take it 🥰

DAY 1 CHALLENGE
Hi walkies community. Im Jody and I have a 7 month old Doberman named Castiel( Cas). If anyone has seen Supernatural that is where his name comes from. He is definitely no angel though🤣. We've been apart of the walkies community for just over 2 months now and loving every moment , loving the great people in the community, love hearing everyone else's achievements and hearing questions and answers and most of all love the support and help from all the trainers. I did lots and lots of research before choosing a doberman and knew I had my work cut out for me which is part of the reason for getting Cas, but without Walkies I honestly dont know if we would of lasted the past months 🙏 My ultimate goal is to be able to feel 100 percent confident that I have total control with Cas especially given his size and strength. I want to take him everywhere in confidence that he wont hurt anyone intentionally or unintentionally. Im frustrated that he has eaten half our furniture 🤣 but Im excited for the future with my boy❤️ he has pulled me out of a big hole i found myself in. 🌞 days ahead Ps video is what my daughters been making and just so you all know this was taken way before we found Walkies😉
