🐾 Gosh, I LOVE Walkys Dog Training Academy! ❤️🐾 I’ve had so many wins with Walkys, but the one that stands out for me right now is just how wonderfully Archie has progressed with his crate training. 🥹❤️ I honestly never thought I would be able to crate train Archie at home as well as he does at Walkys. I think a big part of that was my softness for him — because, let’s face it, I absolutely LOVE my boy! 🥰 But last week, while Archie was recovering from his injury and spending more time resting, I noticed that his crate training had taken on a whole new level. It was beautiful to witness. ❤️ I’m so incredibly proud of Archie, the Walkys team AND myself. 👏👏👏 I’ve learnt that with Archie, it’s about consistency, trial and error, a massive amount of patience and, most importantly, guidance from @Nath Morrison and the rest of the wonderful Walkys team. Archie is now learning that his crate is a safe and comfortable place. 🐾💙 On Saturday, I had Archie in his crate for over an hour while I was cleaning. I was walking in and out of the room, making noises around the house and he remained settled. This was HUGE for us! 🙌🏼 This milestone has connected me so much more with my boy and has helped me understand how Archie learns and how a leader works with their dog. It has opened my eyes to just how much we can achieve when we understand our dogs and give them the right guidance. I love my boy more than words can say, and I am SO incredibly proud of him. 💙🐾 But the training doesn’t stop here! 😁 Our next goal is for me to feel comfortable leaving Archie in his crate overnight while we sleep. Then, eventually, we’ll work towards him being comfortable in his crate while I leave the house. Step by step. No rushing. We’ll get there! 💪🏼🐾 And to Walkys — THANK YOU! ❤️ For showing me that what I once thought was IMPOSSIBLE is actually POSSIBLE. 👏👏👏 Sometimes the biggest win isn’t just what our dog learns… it’s what WE learn along the way. ❤️🐾
