You started a Skool community. Now what?
You chose a name. You set up your About page. You invited some people in. And now suddenly there are about 47 decisions to make. What goes in the Classroom? Should your community be free or paid? Do you need a course? Should you create tiers? How much content should you give away? How do you keep people engaged without spending your entire life creating posts, trainings and resources? And perhaps the biggest question: How do you turn this thing you created into an actual business? That’s exactly what we’re tackling in Now What?, a training specifically for newer Skool community owners who want to build their group intentionally instead of making it up as they go. We’ll look at the decisions that shape your entire Skool ecosystem, including the relationship between your Classroom and Community, free versus paid offers, memberships, courses, tiers, and the mistakes that can leave you with a giant vault of content that nobody knows what to do with. I’ll also introduce you to the three parameters I believe should guide almost every major decision you make about your community and your courses. Most importantly, this is not a training about copying the setup of someone with 50,000 members. Your audience is different. Your business is different. Your goals are different. Your Skool community should be built accordingly. I’ll also take you behind the scenes of my own Skool communities and share how I’ve structured them in two totally different ways. If you’ve created your Skool group and have found yourself staring at the screen thinking, “Okay...now what?” This training is for you and it's happening WEDNESDAY! Check out the calendar for the exact times.

@Karin Crawford of Blooming Voices Streaming TV is doing a free masterclass today for anyone looking to expand their reach through live streaming TV - how cool is that??? Here is what she has to say about the session: Your YouTube channel isn’t the only place your best videos belong. You've already planted the seeds. You have videos that people are already resonating with, videos that have brought you clients, built your credibility, and proven your message works. Now let's discover what they're ready to become. This isn't a sit and listen webinar. By the end of this session, you'll have a clear picture of: 1. What Streaming TV opportunities exist 2. How your videos are positioned for streaming TV 3. Your very own Streaming TV Readiness Score, built live, in the room, with you. 4. You'll walk away with real ideas for improving your existing videos, or building new ones that transition better to streaming TV 5. plus a simple, guided next step if you want to go further. But this is about more than a score. It's about what happens when your best work has a bigger stage. Streaming TV means the right people find you first, instead of you chasing algorithms hoping your next video sticks. It means more freedom, more credibility, and opportunities that come looking for you. Ideal for established youtubers, podcasters, and businesses with strong videos already converting clients. Check out the calendar for the exact time and the link to join!

Very cool!
Hi, I’m Jennifer. New here!
I just joined this group and thought I would introduce myself. I’m the founder of the Menopause Map and I’ve been coaching women for the last 20 years on their weight and well being. I’m a holistic nutritionist and meditation teacher. I’m excited to be here and launching my book, UNMAPPED on Tuesday.

I'm shutting up shop. That's it.
Sorry not sorry for the title. I'm closing my Skool Monetization Lab community, and the reason is simple. I give away good content for free, and free members don't act on it the way my paying members do. I'm in my 50s, and I don't have time to waste like the younger "whippersnappers" (I have never written that word before 🤣). For me, time is currency, so I looked at this as return on time. In my paid communities, people have put money in, so they turn up and do the work. In SML, free content gets treated like a free sample. People take it and don't act on it 😏 That gives me a simple rule on pricing: 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰: a low-priced subscription is the better model, because paying filters for people who will act. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁: stay free. A price on an empty room only leaves you with an empty room. My own traffic comes from YouTube, and that's what keeps my paid communities full. Two more reasons. There are now a lot of free communities teaching the same thing, so it's hard to look different from the one next door. And the same hours in my other communities earn more. I use one test. If I'm not hearing at least one "KACHING" a week, the time and resources are being wasted. SML started as a test, and it worked at the beginning. Then Skool changed the rules. I'm not going to sit and cry about it. I've never been afraid to kill what isn't working, so I'm closing the doors. 𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. 𝗔 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝘃𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿. Here's how to check yours this week: Add up the hours you spent on it last month, including posting, replying and prep. Then count the sales, bookings or paid sign-ups that came from it. Divide the hours by the sales and you have your number. If you can't point to at least one sale a week, ask yourself two questions. Do I bring my own traffic? Would the people in here pay for what I give them? If the answer to the first is no, the pivot may be as small as changing who you're bringing in.

Sounds like a hard, but well-thought out decision.
