To You: From My Comfy Couch To Yours
Don't miss this explanation... Thanks again @Larry Cannon for sharing that 40 ton parachute song with us. With the inspiration I got from that I'm going to have to start playing an entire new style of guitar lol!

Alright @Mike Abalos that's it. Make it yours, add your feel to it. My version is not like the original. Its, Close to Midnight, here another great instrumental from Savoy Brown. Night all.

Let's work on string bends!
New video in the techniques classroom section! Let's work on our bends!!! Link Here: https://www.skool.com/intermediate-guitar/classroom/1008c20d?md=9a56bb7eba3644a1b5a0b8354a713e3e In this video, I show you the proper technique to get the most out of your bends as well as showing some of the more popular type's of bends in music. Remember, to get the most out of this, you want to practice your accuracy and making sure to keep the note ringing out after the bend! Let me know if you have any questions, or if there's something in particular you'd like to see! I have a massive list of things to cover, but if there's something that could help someone more immediately, I'd love to start with that! Have a great weekend and I will see you next week! -Ben

@Benjamin Wood you forgot to say practice these bends when no one is around. Lmao.

Practicing bends my wife would cringe eventually telling me just slide into the note. I have a tendency to over bend. Lol
This one's just for fun!
Hey everyone, today has been a full day of recording and editing video's for here in Skool, and for some of our other social media platforms. I'm taking a break now and wanted to just do something for fun in here for you all. So here's a bit of something I'm working on at the moment, I've only got a few final ideas in here, but for the most part I'm just improvising and jamming. Figured you might get a kick out of seeing me struggle haha! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! Mike will be around a bit, but he and his family are on a trip right now so we will have to just keep our eye's out for him. Don't worry though, I'm here! See you tomorrow with a quick 5 minute lesson, and then again on Friday will a longer one! -B

I'll be back next week!
Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been here as often as I'd like this week. We had a family emergency yesterday and my wife and I are just taking a little time to process and grieve. As a result, I haven't sat down to make any video's this week, but I will get back to the usual next week. Thank you for your understanding. In the meantime, I did have a quick 5 minute lesson done already and it is uploaded into the classroom section titled "5-Minute Lessons". Here's the link: https://www.skool.com/intermediate-guitar/classroom/4000ef63?md=36323bec1b394b958d00620f791b1b1e It's all about using drone strings and single string lead lines for practice, or even to make your solo guitar sound a bit more full, like a self accompaniment. Give it a try yourself and I hope everyone has a great rest of their week. Thank you all again, I'll see you next week! -Ben

@John Witte thanks. Normally play this on acoustic. It's missing the pull offs. Lol I've played this a long time you would think it would be spot on. Lol May try to clean it up.
