Just wanted to share this to hopefully motivate someone! It’s been almost a month since I started listing prints and my shop is finally starting to gain some traction. I’ve just reached 200 listings and was starting to worry after having no sales for a week, especially because I thought things were beginning to pick up after a few orders the week before. Then this afternoon I got an order for a framed print for £169.99 and I’m absolutely buzzing! Your sign not to give up and just keep powering through. It’s a lot of hard work at the beginning getting the prints made, listed and everything set up, but it’s the best feeling when someone chooses something you created to put on their wall. Fingers crossed for more sales because I’m absolutely loving this journey!

Hi everyone, I was wondering how everyone gets on uploading larger sized files to printshrimp as I am really struggling. I don’t have very good upload speed where I live out in the back of beyond and the 90 second time out limit on the printshrimp uploader is killing me. I can’t upload anything larger than about 6-7MB from my house and always have to drive to a coffee shop or somewhere in town if I have bigger files 😆 It’s not too much of a problem but a couple of people recently have asked me for larger sizes and when I upscale they are way over 25MB and I’m wondering how on earth to get them uploaded. Does a normal internet speed cope with sizes like that? Does anyone else have this issue? I’m going to have to start adding on the price of a chai latte and a muffin to my larger sized posters to cover the cost of my pilgrimage to Costa coffee every time I need a large size! 😄😄

does anyone here offer digital files for the customer to print themselves? if so, how do you implement that for the listings you already have on your store?

I hit a little Etsy milestone this weekend that I set for myself when I started four months ago. 🎉 I set myself a target, kept working towards it, and I got there. I’m really proud of it. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that consistency is key. And I don’t just mean showing up every day. Consistency in your design quality Consistency in your store branding. Consistency in your process. Consistency in how you present your products. Consistency in fulfillment. Consistency in customer service. I’ve started thinking about my Etsy store in the same way I would think about a physical shop: Build a store that you would choose to browse in on the high street. Would you stop and look in the window? Would you walk through the door? Once you were inside, would everything feel like it belonged together? Would you enjoy browsing, even if you weren’t quite ready to buy? Would you come back? Would you tell your friends about it? That mindset has probably changed the way I look at my shop more than anything else. The first 3 or 4 months are pure hard graft, with very little emotional or financial return. You create things nobody looks at. You change titles, learn SEO, redo mock-ups, make mistakes, fix them, and occasionally watch the thing you thought would be a bestseller disappear into an Etsy black hole. But you keep showing up. Slowly, all those little things start adding up, and you begin to see the returns. I definitely haven’t done it alone. A huge thank you to Printshrimp, who are an important part of that consistency. I can create the design, but ultimately the customer judges my store on the standard and quality of the end product that arrives at their door. I love that my occasional delivery challenges are solved by real people who actually read my emails, rather than bots that make no sense, have questionable logic, and seem completely incapable of finding a solution outside the standard “customer service” box. And a huge thank you to everyone I’ve connected with through Skool. I’ve learned an enormous amount from people generously sharing their knowledge, successes, mistakes, and the occasional “I tried that, don’t bother!” It's a great place to ask questions - any question!

Yep, cant believe it...... Had my etsy store for a number of years now trying various things and following different strategies and people and getting I think, 2 sales. HOWEVER after following Toms FREE info and giving this a go, my first sale has come through on the eve of 30/08/26 after me joining Print shrimp early July. So just over a month and 100 posters uploaded, I get my first sale. Awesome and such a positive direction. Keep building and keep going.
