THE SPRING CHALLENGE 📢 IS HERE.
On Saturday 31 October, we’re walking the Blue Mile together and finishing at Diggies for coffee, with our dogs settled calmly under the tables. That’s the finish line. Getting there takes six weeks, six skills and six rounds, starting Monday 14 September. But we decided that simply helping everyone build better dogs wasn’t quite competitive enough... So we’re putting something far more important on the line. 🔥 NATH vs MATT. 🔥 Bragging rights. And unfortunately for one of us, there will be witnesses. When you commit, you’ll be randomly drafted into one of two packs: 🐺 THE WILD DOGS with Nath 🦊 THE JACKALS with Matt You don’t choose your pack. You can’t swap. And once you’re drafted, you're no longer on your own. But this isn’t just you training your dog and sending in homework. Your Pack Leader is in this too. Nath and Matt will be coaching, competing, stirring each other up and doing everything legally permitted under Walkys law to make sure their pack walks into Diggies as champions. So yes, you’re working on your dog. Yes, you’re working with your pack. But you’re also carrying the hopes, dreams and incredibly fragile ego of your Pack Leader. No pressure. 😂 HERE’S HOW THE SIX WEEKS WORK. Every Sunday night, a new level drops as an online course for you to work through. Every Monday evening, your Pack Leader goes LIVE in Skool to break down the week’s challenge, answer questions and get the pack ready to earn that point. Then your private pack WhatsApp group takes over. Questions. Videos. Training. Struggles. Wins...... Trash talk. And when someone posts at 9pm on a Tuesday night because their dog just nailed something they couldn’t do a week ago, the whole pack piles on. Then Friday comes. 🏆 ONE DOG + HUMAN TEAM WINS THE WEEK. They take home a prize from Drifter Dog Gear and, more importantly, put a point on the board for their pack. Six rounds. Six chances to score. And on Halloween, one pack walks into Diggies knowing they won the 2026 Walkys Spring Challenge.

@Kayla Campbell thanks for your encouragement Kayla. I’ll give it some thought.
@Kayla Campbell ok. 👌. Great 😊
Loose leash walking 🐕✨
We missed the 7 day challenge as I was unwell most of last week 🥲 But I thought I would share some footage we got over the weekend practicing our loose leash walking. Huge thank you to @Matthew Marsh for teaching me some drills to improve our walks. Training a sausage dog is not for the weak, and my back hurts from bending down to reward him, but the results are worth it! 🤩🩵🐾

VET VISIT
So we went to the vetvtoday, just to pick up monthly tablets and a quick weigh in. Normally Cas os super excited and bouncing all over the place, overvthe lovely receptionist, won't sit long enough on the scales . But today he walked in so so calm, straight to the scales and sat🙂. Then hopped off , sat and layed🙂🙂 The receptionist was in 😲 shock, she even got a good body rub in too. So proud of my boy and so thankful for the Walkies Team❤️. P.s. No other animals in there at that time 🤣🤣
That’s incredible Jody. I can’t begin to imagine what it’d be like having a calm Sog at the vets.
Challenge Day 7
Doing the challenge has been great. Being single and not as young as I used to be with 2 young dogs to train has been HARD at times, and having the encouragement and support of the Skool community this week has made it feel less like I’m doing it alone. It helped me to look for the positive in my pups and to recognise their progress. It’s a bit hard to identify the biggest win because there has been so many little ones, like getting them to sit before a scatter feed and before I throw the ball when we play fetch. Honey struggles with impulse control so these are big for her. Snoop Dog has come to me when called from barking at the fence, something he loves to do, so that’s big for him. All in all it’s been a valuable week for me and for the dogs.
@Jennifer Mcfarlane aww. Thanks Jennifer.
@Maria Sirianni thanks heaps for the encouragement. 😀

I'm the owner of 2 Cavoodles. Miss Honey is 11 months old, and Snoop Dog is 16 months old. They are both delightful little bundles of energy and love.
