Today my Grassroots team played the team that finished top our league last season and have now been promoted to the league above. We played them 4 times last season and 4 times we got hammered. Today we drew 1-1 against them. I saved a penalty and was making so many saves their coaches praised me at the end and the opposition players were calling me prime Buffon and told me i was the best keeper. My teammates told my coaches that I deserved MOTM and so today was what I would call a win all round

First away game of the season for me and my Dad tonight. Leicester away it is also my birthday which makes it even better. Great way to end the summer holidays before going back to school on Friday. Then starting with 2 new teams next season with my first ever competitive game on Saturday and then on Sunday with my second new team. 👌💚

Today's game was well fought. With a biased ref and a lino who flagged every time we were on the attack even if it wasn't the player in play that was offside. it meant we had to work extra hard. Their defence was tight and although one of our strikers was in the right position and working hard the luck wasn't on his side. It ended up 3-3 with some great goals. I did all I could. Very happy with both my games this weekend

Last night Elisia’s played the top team in the league who have not lost any of there pre-season games, we knew is was going to be a tight game against them as it always is. We kicked hungry for it and with in 2 mins we was in the lead with that they managed to get 1 back. They managed to break through again with a very quick striker run towards goal but they didn’t count on Elisia’s quick reactions with her coming flying out of the goal like a charging bull and running straight through the striker clearing the ball to are wing and us getting a goal leaving us 2-1 up at half time. 2nd half kicked of with us stealing the ball and and banging another goal in, they then got 2 free kicks Elisia saves the first with a brilliant dive but the managed to get to it before the defender and scored the 2nd the shot and it dipped just in the top left making it 3-3, we then came out all guns and banging in another goal leaving us winning 4-3 at full time. Elisia also received POTM.
