Database reactivation and missed-call text-back both assume the business already has somewhere for a lead to land. Some don't, and you can find out in one lookup before you write a word of outreach: does the web address the business publishes on its own listing resolve at all? How I run it: bare domain and www checked separately (plenty answer on one and not the other), five public resolvers rather than one (Google, Cloudflare, Quad9, OpenDNS, AdGuard), and a known-live plus a known-dead domain run through the same script in the same second as controls, so a network blip can't pass as a finding. Dead only when all five say NXDOMAIN on both forms. This morning on Wakefield hair and roofing listings: three businesses whose published web address is not registered to anyone, while the directory still prints the link. That row gives you an opener the owner can check for himself in ten seconds, and a first sale (a page and a form) that a sub-account covers before the automation is even mentioned. I built the check into LeadDrive (mine, launched last Monday): pick a town and a trade, it pulls the businesses and checks the web address, contact form, phone and reviews for each, so the dead ones and the gaps are visible in the list. If you already screen lists some other way before they hit GHL, I'd like to hear what you check first.
