Still blazing hot here in North Texas, so still sticking to the basics.

It's about as simple as outfits get and still knocking it out of the park.
Why Status Symbols Simply Aren't...
I can't remember where I originally heard this, but it seems to be something a lot of people have either forgotten or never heard... The people that matter aren't impressed by things, they are only impressed by people. A Rolex on a random wrist means nothing more than a receipt. The important factor isn't the watch, but the wrist. Any interesting watch on an impressive gentleman's wrist becomes a status symbol - because of the wrist that's wearing it. There's a reason the phrase, "an empty suit," even exists. It's because the suit doesn't make the man; the man - or woman, for that matter - makes the suit. Buying things that a significant number of people can purchase does not impart status. Striving to be the best version of yourself, however, demonstrates a status that cannot be purchased...

That Rolex, bespoke suit and fancy sports car do not give you status, but often represent a level of status achieved. You have to have lots of money to afford those things, and earning enough money to afford those things often requires a certain level of status. Having money doesn't give you status, but earning does. Having expensive things will not give you status. They represent status, but the status is there, weather you buy them or not. That is my over simplified interpretation at least.

Looking sharp. I agree with @Robert Woodhouse . Upgrade your cane to match your style and you'll elevate your look exponentially.
Drawing The Line part 1
#DRAWINGTHELINE Should a DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN wear earrings, as part of his wardrobe, if his ears are still pierced? At what point, in YOUR OPINION , do you draw the line when accessorising your particular wardrobe? Do you agree or disagree? What are YOUR THOUGHTS?

@Scott Brown while I'm aware that politics help shape style and fashion, I do not believe this is a proper forum to post a call to arms. I would also say that it is highly inappropriate to be calling out different groups and religions the way in which you did. This is a very large community and there are no doubt members of the LGBT community here and there are no doubt Muslims here as well, and members of both communities are welcome to be here. They deserve to be treated with the same respect as anyone else.

@Canyon Rehbein I think a single diamond stud could work with black tie. Everything else must be 100% on point though, or it looks like a piece you forgot to take out rather than an intentional style choice.
