Enlightenment after yesterdays call
After listening to yesterdays call and Q&A I realised that my adhd was apparent when I was younger - I hadn’t really thought about it much before but there is certainly a pattern of leaving studying til the last minute - always striving to do the best always even though I never really got praise it was always just assumed - but I always wanted to do well for my parents - I wanted them to be happy … I realize now I really struggle with accepting praise because I wasn’t used to getting it when I was a child ….i don’t have many childhood memories but I do remember this … I have had realised many things during this challenge one of the main ones is that that nervous system regulation is my biggest problem and also that I really Struggle with stillness and feeling like I deserve to relax. I also know if I don’t do anything now I will never change and I really want to as it’s affecting my life and my busienss and my relationship. I have really enjoyed this challenge so far … thank you so much Jim for your kindness and time you have spent this week sharing your knowledge and experience.

Tips please on visualising your future self ? I really struggle with visualisation
if anyone has any tips on visualising your future self and really feeling that emotion I really struggle with this - feeling emotion for others I also find really difficult - but I can feel my own but I usually bottle it up …
COLD SHOWER 🚿
Who else can't bring themselves to do the cold shower. I'm a big wuss when it comes to cold water. I want to but I just can't. 🥶

FEEL BEHIND? THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Quick truth: there is no "behind" in this challenge. That's a story your brain made up the moment you missed a session. And I get it. We are world class at turning one missed day into a full identity crisis. "I always do this." "I never finish anything." "Why did I even sign up." Breathe. The challenge is not a train you missed. It's a room. And the room is open until Tuesday. Five sessions of 30 minutes. You don't need five days for that. You need one weekend and a brain like ours. We don't do "a little bit every day". We do all of it, at once, when it finally matters. Let it matter. Almost everyone misses a day. The people with the big transformations? They missed days too. Felt the shame. Came back anyway. That's the rep that rewires you. Every time you quit something before, you taught your nervous system "we don't finish things." This weekend you teach it the opposite. One honest thing: I don't yet know when I run this again. If I do, it won't be this group, this week, and it might not be fully free again... So here's the whole task. Open the classroom. Press play on the next session. Answer the three questions. Repeat until your report shows up. ▶️ https://www.skool.com/adhd/classroom That report is the deepest thing you'll read about yourself this year. Don't leave it sitting there. And Tuesday is for everyone. Five days done, two days, zero days. Reinvent Your ADHD Life is where I put the whole week into one picture, announce the $2,000 in prizes live, and give everyone in the room lots of value for FREE. If life happened and you did nothing, be there anyway. That's the one thing I'm asking. 📅 Tuesday 8 September, 18:00 CEST 👉 https://www.skool.com/adhd/calendar?eid=98e07cd8498742339830a0a2cd715ed0 You're not behind. You're exactly where the comeback starts. And if you're on track: Day 5 is the one where you get your report. Live at 18:00 CEST · 17:00 UK · 12:00pm ET · 9:00am PT · 02:00 Sat AEST. Can't make it? The replay is up right after.

Done all The days so far - a bit behind in my homework but will catch up over the weekend and can’t wait for Tuesday too … really enjoy the Q&A’s too as I learn more about myself too as I hear similarities and ifs helping me piece the puzzle together … I also went to bed earlier than usual after a warm shower and some stretching !! Hoping to do it again this evening !

In - I forgot to say !
Hello from the uk
Hi - my name is Ritu - I have listened to all three sessions but haven’t done my homework so now going to try and start it ! ADHD in perimenopause has risen its head and I’m really struggling with it as I have my own business . I never feel I can relax as I always feel I can’t focus enough in the day and then stay up late to compensate and it’s a viscous circle . However I have taken on board about sleep and nutrition and also that a morning routine doesn’t hsve to be long … can do the minimum and it’s ok! I hope to connect with others who are in the same boat !

@Melody Vi thank you for your kind words ! Yes hoping I can get some support and enlightenment with this challenge … this is the second attempt as doing the challenge - the first time I was scared to even start ! This time I’m ready for day 4 but still need to catch up on homework! How are you getting on?
