If I’m honest, the storm in this season feels more like a downpour. My girls have been sick, my car is out of commission, and while I’m holding on, I’ve definitely prayed, “God, okay… can this pass already?” 😅🙏🏾 Tony Gaskins said, “You don’t have to sprint through every storm!” Whew. I needed that reminder. I’m learning to take this season one day at a time to care for my girls, receive help, rest when I can, and bring my honest feelings to God. I can trust Him and still be tired. I can be grateful and still want relief. Today, embracing the storm looks like giving myself grace while I walk through it. One prayer. One breath. One next step. God is with me here, too. 🤎 What would giving yourself grace look like today?

You can’t keep stumbling over what God already brought you through. What’s behind you taught you, and what’s beneath you built you, but neither is where you’re meant to stay. Take the lesson, leave the weight, and keep climbing. 🧗 And listen… I’m talking to MYSELF because I’ve been a little WEAK lately and tempted to peek in that rearview mirror. 😮‍💨 But I’ve read about Lot’s wife, and baby, I do NOT have pillar-of-salt aspirations! 🧂😭 If you’ve been tempted to revisit something God brought you out of, you’re not alone. We can do this! Eyes forward!! What’s ahead has too much potential to keep romanticizing what’s behind us. Somebody please post “DON’T DO IT, SIS!!!” in the comments! I need some STRENGTH! 😬 😂 💪🏾

When the devil knows you have greatness in you, oh he’s going to try every way because he know our weakness. But know God continues to supply all the things we need because he knows we have greatness in us, because he put it in us. So when the devil keeps trying you, God will keep supplying for you! Sometimes the past gets loud—reminding you of what you did, what you accepted, or what someone made you believe about yourself. You can acknowledge that pain without letting it speak for who you are becoming. Healing takes time, but you don’t have to wait until you feel completely healed to take a step forward with God. Philippians 3:13 reminds us to turn our focus toward what lies ahead.
