No Mayo Chicken Salad 😋
**EDIT: It was too dry for me, so I added another batch of the Macadamia mayo.** I made this according to my gut protocol and it is soooo good! I made “mock Mayo” with macadamia nuts, water, sea salt, & a splash of oat milk. It was very nutty 🥜 so I added some diced apples and a splash of maple syrup. I wanted to add mango, but the one I have isn’t ripe enough yet. - Chicken - Diced apples - Chopped Pecans Macadamia mayo (idk what to call it🤣) - macadamia nuts - water - Splash of Olive Oil - Sea salt - Oat milk - Maple syrup I don’t measure. I used about 1/2 c macadamia and just a little water in my handheld blender. With Sea salt. Then I added a splash of oat milk and maple syrup and some diced apples to the blender.

Beneficial Stress
TAKING ACTION: ✅New Clients: Skip straight to the bottom of this post and check out the ⭐️ NEW CLIENT INFO! ✅VIP Clients: Tell us one stress-reducing tip you practice and find beneficial! Let’s share today! If we’re going to talk about cortisol, we have to talk about stress… It’s important to know that some stress (short-term) can actually be beneficial for you. Things like exercise, riding a roller coaster, or even intermittent fasting offer short-term stress that can add to your life. Unfortunately, chronic stress elevates long-term high cortisol levels, which we already know leads to chronic health issues, sleep problems, and yes, the inability to burn unwanted fat. While we can’t eliminate all stress, the goal is to find natural strategies to reduce stress—especially in the evenings when we want our cortisol levels to be lower. Check out this great article with tips on how to quickly reduce stress ⬇️ How to relieve stress quickly (in 10 minutes or less) — Calm Blog ___________________________________________________ ⬇️⭐️NEW CLIENT INFO and TO-DO’s⭐️⬇️ Today, I want to know which of our foundational strategies you are feeling most comfortable with? Which one (or ones) are beginning to feel like second nature for you? The good news is that they will all begin to feel like second nature soon. You’re doing the things. You’re changing your life. 💯 🚀 Intermittent fasting 🚀 Whole-food nutrition 🚀 Weekly workouts ⭐️Before we wrap up, I want to discuss one more important thing—the difference between weight loss and fat loss. There’s a difference. Weight loss refers to a reduction in overall body weight, which can include fat, muscle, water, or other tissues. Fat loss specifically targets the reduction of body fat while aiming to preserve muscle mass. Weight loss can occur quickly through methods like dehydration or extreme dieting, but fat loss is typically slower and requires a combination of proper nutrition and exercise. Focusing on fat loss rather than just weight loss promotes better health and body composition. Weight loss is irrelevant without considering your fat percentage. We want fat loss—and that’s another reason I encourage you to stay off the scale. The scale can’t measure your fat loss. 👌

Thank you I needed to read all of this today. Also, I’ve been working on meditation in the mornings and breathing techniques throughout the day for stress relief.
Tuesday Eats 😋
TAKING ACTION: ✅VIP Clients: What is your favorite healthy fat to eat? Happy Tuesday, friends! it’s the perfect time to discuss how healthy fats impact cortisol. Foods like avocado are rich in healthy fats and potassium, which help stabilize blood sugar and support adrenal function, both of which are important for lowering cortisol. Foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids, like salmon, help reduce inflammation and regulate cortisol. Other foods high in healthy fats like eggs, almonds, walnuts, and even dark chocolate are also beneficial. If you haven’t noticed, all of these foods fall under one category—whole-food nutrition. While I’ve given you several tips to support healthy cortisol levels, the truth is that your nutrition matters as much as anything else. 💯 Check out this website, full of healthy recipes to help with your cortisol balance efforts! 31+ Delicious Cortisol-Balancing Diet Recipes – Savorly Kitchen

Rest Day 💗
TAKING ACTION: ✅New Clients: Skip straight to the bottom of this post and check out the ⭐️ NEW CLIENT INFO! The ⭐️ NEW CLIENT INFO at the bottom of each day’s post will be your go-to this month! ✅How are you liking the Cortisol + Strength info so far? Do you need to implement more cortisol-balancing practices into your daily life? ✅ Don’t forget, we have an August group call this evening at 7pm CST/ 8pm EST! We’re one week into our Cortisol + Strength Challenge, and I’d love to know how you’re doing so far! We’ve talked about morning tips and evening tips to help naturally balance your cortisol rhythm. As mentioned earlier in the week, we’ve also adjusted our fasting protocol, and added breathwork sessions. When you combine all of these strategies, your body will feel less stressed overall and, in turn, your cortisol will show up and complete the jobs it’s assigned. 💯 Today is a rest-and-recovery day, another critical component of balancing stress and cortisol. Chronic stress from intense exercise, overtraining, or inadequate rest can lead to persistently elevated cortisol levels, which may contribute to fatigue, muscle breakdown, weakened immunity, and other health issues. At the most fundamental level, friends, this is why rest and recovery days are critical. Take advantage of it, friends, and get ready for another great week of learning (and doing)! 🔥 ___________________________________________________ ⬇️⭐️NEW CLIENT INFO and TO-DO’s⭐️⬇️ Congratulations, friends—you’re one week in, and I couldn’t be more proud of you! Today, I want to talk about two important topics that will help you successfully navigate this journey in the coming days and weeks— ⭐️ In your planning + prep time today, consider what you’ll need to successfully navigate your upcoming days. Think healthy fats—healthy oils (avocado, olive, coconut), nut butters, nuts/seeds, grass-fed butter or ghee, avocado, olives, fattier fish like salmon, fattier cuts of meat like grass-fed ground beef/ground pork/ground chicken (not breast), dark meat chicken with the skin. You’ll also want to stock up on some fiber-rich foods like dark leafy greens and berries, as fiber helps lower your overall carb intake.
