With that said, it’s already the middle of the week—and that means we need to start learning about all things sugar if we’re going to successfully navigate the rest of the month.
As I’ve already mentioned, not all sugar is bad. Natural sugar isn’t the problem. Natural sugar can be found in honey, pure maple syrup, dairy products, and you guessed it—fruits and vegetables.
Health issues arise when we overconsume processed sugar/added sugars. These are the sugars that cause both physical and psychological cravings. Food manufacturers know this, and they know if you crave it, you’ll buy it. When you buy it, they make more money.
The overall point is that not all sugars are created equal. We’re going to learn more about why in the days ahead! 💯
