Strumming/Party Chord Play
Are you starting to work on your chord transitions but you're not sure where to start? Join me as we breakdown Em, D, G, C - our "party chords" if you will - and we'll use these chords as a way to learn to better our rhythm with our right hand. Because once we know what we want to do with our left hand, we can begin to work with our right hand. What's a "Party Chord"? Don't even get me started lol 😆 jk.
For people just beginning this may seem a little daunting to consider, but I make sure to lay it all out in the video, as well as giving you plenty of time to work through it yourself. Our "Party Chords" are the one's that require the least bit of "guitar knowledge" to perform, and are often the very first couple of chords we start to learn. Watch 'til the end and I'll also briefly discuss an alternative rhythm that just involves "letting loose" a little bit. Let me know if you've heard anyone play the guitar like this before... Without further ado!
