Sort of. Right now, Claude (in an effort to get you to use the tools) is doing a promotion where, if you ask it to make one of 3 things, you'll get 50% off the compute for the next 15 messages. ----------------------------------- Here's how I'm maximizing it. 1️⃣ Open with a message that tells it to make a document. WHY: Its the lowest compute cost of the 3 options that give you a 'discount.' Try with something similar to: "make a document that outlines (whatever text-based thing)" EXAMPLE in images. My opening message includes a screenshot of what I'm wanting to work on (less compute would have been me listing them in text) but NOT the actual thing I'm trying to do. ---------------------------------------- 2️⃣ Then send the thing that requires some real thinking. EXAMPLE: Second Image, I uploaded the files (I could have also linked to them in the google drive, for even less compute). --------------------------------------- 🔐 I made a skill that makes it so that Claude does the necessary low-token-cost thing (usually create or update a document) at 14/15 messages, so you keep getting the entire conversation at 50% off. Full disclosure: I L❤️VE art (especially architecture), but I’m not really a creative person… …I’m a systems person. The extent of my creativity is that when I see something I think “how can this be improved?” (Not about Art. I’m so much NoT an artsy person that I wouldn’t presume to guess how to improve it). So my “innovative” ideas are never creative, never about creating something new, they’re about improving efficiency. And even then, it’s a matter of just doing the same thing in a slightly different ways (processes) and sometimes formal frameworks (of others). 👀 Ok, so today I working on a new cover for the group (which, btw, is about the extent of my artistic AI integration, and even this took me a while to come around to). This friggen tablet was almost the death of me. It seamed like every time the image was almost perfect, chatGPT would switch the tablet out to an angle I’d already told it (10 times) to *not* do. I was specific about what it SHOULD look like, but still Chat GPT would rotate it for a final rendering. Finally, when it was right to a point where it was almost right and returns were far past the point of diminishing returns. I asked Chat GPT: - To produce a list of all of my requirements and specifications before trying again - How can I make it so (it) automatically carry them forward? - To Give me a prompt that I can use at the beginning of any image generation project that makes this standard practice. Because I know this happens fairly often, I’ll do a quick little guide about it, but for now I wanted to share the prompt (it’ll be in the first comment). ——— Tell me below in the comments, do you have tips you use to keep image generation from wandering? I just made a post in the classroom about 3-ish questions to have on hand so you don't need to copy and paste all the time. Plus, they're the basis for everything AI is ever going to help you do in your business. The end of it asks you all to come and share your replies so we can support (& maybe you'll get some more followers). The 3-ish BARE BONES answers to have on hand: 1. What do you do? / Who do you help? / What is your Background? 2. What do you teach or offer ? (These two will often overlap a little) 3. Do they come to you to learn how to do the thing so they can do it for someone else? Or do they come to you to get the thing done for themselves? Below, Tell us your answers. For those of us reading replies: - If it's your thing, follow and support other group members please. - If it's something you're interested in but not quite sure if it's for you, please ask a clarifying question It will help the poster either (1) realize they may need to sort this into TWO ideas, or (2) maybe they need to be more specific about who they're for. - Either way, be supportive. Hi Everyone, I've been hard at work making the foundational items for the Skool. (1) I've done a few live sessions - which were BAD at first, but are improving. Content wise - they're "trying to cram too much in too short of a time period"... Once I get the content-to-time ratio down I'll post the replays (& I'll let you know when I do that). I kind of went boring and neutral so we can go hard with the themed courses 🎉 without ruining the vibe of the classroom, visually. Which brings me to the workflow cover/tool/ **POLL** I've been building a workflow visualization tool (which is going to be one of the freebies you all get access to) and I'd love your opinion on which is easier for you to look at. Option 1 = Black Background, very n8n. Option 2 = directly from Make.com visual, shows the tools being used Option 3 = The one I'm making, icons show what's being done with the stuff, colors to show the tools? I'd print it out and keep it in a planner, or on a fridge, or some place near the problem area (maybe on the desk).
