Red Stripes (Top and Bottom): Symbolizes the pure blood shed by the Phoenician people at their historic struggles and sacrifices to protect and preserve the nation against invaders and win independence

White Stripe (Center): Symbolizes peace, purity, and the bright snow-capped peaks of Mount Lebanon. The white band is twice the height of each Red Stripe

THE CEDAR TREE 🌲

The Cedar of Phoenicia (Kedrus Feniqi or Arz Feniqi): Positioned exactly at the center the green cedar is an ancient national symbol

Resilience and Immortality: Stands for strength, steadiness, longevity, and hope.

Spiritual Significance: The Cedar is referenced numerous times in the Jewish Torah (about 70 times) famously symbolizing holiness, eternity, and righteousness
