Community Update: Weekly Live Classes & New Public Access
Hi everyone, A quick update on the Weekly Live Classes. From now on, all Live class recordings will be posted under the lesson category called “Weekly Live Classes.” I’m also moving the previous Live recordings into that section, and more are being added daily until everything is organized in one place. We are also opening parts of the Skool community to the public so new members can get a small taste of what the community is about. They may be able to see that certain videos, lessons, and Live recordings exist, but they will not be able to access the full content unless they are a paid member. This gives new people a chance to explore the community while keeping the full lessons, Live classes, Q&A, and deeper education reserved for our paid members. If you are looking for a past Live, check Classroom → Weekly Live Classes. Thank you for being part of the community. Maurice Daher, CNS Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™
High DHEA-S
Hello Maurice! Hoping you’re well @Maurice Daher I mostly find info for a low DHEA-S, but how about one that is elevated for a female? It was elevated long before carnivore, and it didn’t really change a year in. My other hormones: testosterone, prolactin, SHBG are all good and within the range, and of course, insulin is also good and low after going low carb. So this made me think that it’s really more an adrenal/nervous system issue, rather than a sex hormones issue. I wanted to have a 1-1 consultation with you about this, but I thought it would be good to ask for your input first, if I need to visit the endocrinologist for any specific tests, or if I should change something before my next test. Appreciate your input as always🧡

Reflux flare
@Maurice Daher i am still taking salt but my reflux is flaring at night and in the day. I am wondering why this could be. It started getting worse from beginning July. Should I be doing something differently? I’m a little confused as I didn’t think it would get worse even when taking salt. I have reduced my electrolytes. Would this have an impact? Due to heart palpitations I have reduced electrolytes. Not sure if this relevant but I am 19 days into being intentional with my nutrition and back to eating properly. Reflux did start round the same time I reset my nutrition but it has just been getting worse. I have been eating some dairy. I am going to cut it out. But is it possible to get this under control again.
PKU
Hello @Maurice Daher My friend’s son has phenylketonuria (PKU). He is 16 years old, weighs around 64 kg, and consumes about 60 grams of protein per day, mostly from medical protein substitutes. Could a Carnivore diet make any difference in his case?
