‼️ NEW DOCUMENTARY HOMEWORK ‼️
Who taught you what “healthy” means?
Was it your parents?
School?
Your doctor?
A food label?
A fitness magazine?
Or maybe today, the algorithm on your phone?
That is the question behind my latest documentary.
Over the years, we absorb rules about food, cholesterol, weight, exercise, fasting, medication, supplements, meat, plants, salt, and fat. After hearing the same messages long enough, they start to feel like our own beliefs.
But what happens when your biology gives you a different answer?
What happens when the diet that worked at 30 stops working at 55?
What happens when one biomarker improves, but another gets worse?
What happens when the advice everyone says is “healthy” does not produce a healthy response in you?
That is where I want you to start thinking differently.
Health is not about blindly following a rule.
It is about understanding what the rule was designed to accomplish, what it changes inside the body, what trade-offs come with it, and whether your own biology is responding the way you expected.
In the documentary, I walk through how our definition of health gets shaped by family, school, medicine, marketing, fitness culture, diet identity, and eventually social media.
Then we bring it back to physiology.
Because your liver does not know which diet camp you belong to.
Your arteries do not care which influencer you follow.
Your pancreas does not care what label you put on your diet.
Your body responds to the environment you give it.
Food.
Sleep.
Stress.
Movement.
Blood pressure.
Hormones.
Medications.
Genetics.
Disease.
And time.
That is why I keep coming back to the same principle:
Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™.
🎥 Watch the full documentary first.
‼️ Then I want you to complete this week’s homework. ‼️
Answer these five questions:
  1. What is one health belief you have followed for years, and where did that belief originally come from?
  2. What actual outcome were you hoping that belief or strategy would improve?
  3. What is the biological mechanism behind it? In other words, what is it supposed to change inside your body?
  4. What are the possible trade-offs? Has anything improved while something else became worse?
  5. What evidence from your own body would tell you whether this strategy is working? Think symptoms, blood work, blood pressure, sleep, energy, performance, digestion, or other measurable changes.
Do not rush through these.
The purpose is not to prove that your current beliefs are wrong.
The purpose is to figure out why you believe them and whether they still make sense for the biology you have today.
Post your answers below after you watch the documentary.
I am especially interested in Question #1 ‼️
What is one thing you were taught was “healthy” that you now look at completely differently?
