WEEKLY HOMEWORK POST
This Week’s Homework: Are You Actually Protecting Your Muscle?
A lot of people on carnivore assume:
“I eat meat, so my protein is covered.”
But this week, I want you to actually test that assumption.
Your homework is to track 3 things for 7 days:
  1. Protein; Estimate how many grams of protein you’re actually eating each day.
  2. Strength; Pick one simple marker:
  • grip strength
  • push-ups
  • chair stands
  • squat weight
  • loaded carry
  • another repeatable exercise
Track whether it is stable, improving, or declining.
  1. Meal pattern; Write down:
  • how many meals you eat
  • whether appetite is low
  • whether you’re doing OMAD
  • whether you’re getting full from fat before you reach your protein target
One more thing:
If your muscles look flatter after going low carb, don’t automatically assume you lost muscle. Glycogen and water can fall quickly too. What I care about more is whether strength and function are actually declining.
At the end of the week, post:
Age:
Body weight:
Average daily protein:
Meals per day:
Strength marker:
Did strength improve, stay the same, or decline?
Anything surprise you?
This is not about chasing perfect numbers.
It’s about learning whether your version of carnivore is actually supporting your body.
And if you haven’t watched the full lesson yet, watch the latest Carnivore Switch episode first because I explain anabolic resistance, leucine, OMAD, glycogen loss, protein targets, and what I would actually measure.
