“Still Becoming, Even Here”

A transparent moment: I come on here, encourage others, and smile because this really is a beautiful community. But behind the scenes, I’ve been struggling.

I worked so hard on my children’s book and hoped to release it September 30 in honor of my dad’s birthday. That release isn’t happening. I’ve decided to start the book over from the ground up, and I’m grieving the plan I had for it.

Over the weekend, my car starter went out. My almost one-year-old has four teeth coming in at once, and my two-year-old is sick. It’s been one thing after another, and I’ve felt under attack.

I’m sharing this because encouraging people doesn’t mean I never need encouragement myself. I still believe God is with me in this, even while I’m tired and trying to regroup. If you think of me and my girls, please pray for us for healing, peace, provision, and the strength to take the next step. 🙏🏾🤎
