Sobhag Kriya crew (and beyond), i'm curious how the one-minute breath is going for you. One of the manifold reasons that the Kundalini Yoga practice, as a whole, is profound is that - You can practice the same thing every day for years, and have a completely different experience with it every day - Day after day. It's a profound relationship with your very life-force, the essence of what you're made of and who you are - at an atomic level. In many ways, even attempting to talk about our experience can't even begin to touch the surface. Cue creation culture - The 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥 part of this very grounded practice has to do with what we give back to the planet, and this is a more truer expression of the multi-dimensional unfolding of our innermost unlimited blissed-out joy-filled over-flowingness of the fountain of our human being; The expressions of this are unlimited - and it all has to do with how we relate - to our relationships - with our family, friends, jobs, businesses, art, etc. I digress. And i'd still, for community building sake, like to hear how the one-minute breath is going for you. To get everybody up to speed, we are about two weeks into our 40-day Sobhag Kriya challange (not to late to join!), and there is a part of this 6-part series that includes the one-minute breath. Intro and practice video: here. You can answer the poll and also comment below - let us know if you have prior experience with practicing this Pranayam. If you have never practiced, give it a shot and let us know how it goes. Sit calmly in a meditative posture. Inhale, hold the breath in, and exhale for 20 seconds each - making the entire breath process 1 minute. If 20, 20, 20 feels to straining to start, you can decrease the time to 15 seconds or 10 seconds and start from there. Practice 1-31 minutes. The One Minute Breath is an advanced, very effective pranayam. The physiological effects include: optimized cooperation between the brain hemispheres, dramatic calming of anxiety, fear and worry, openness to feeling one’s presence and the presence of spirit, stronger intuition, whole-brain functioning— especially the old brain and the frontal hemispheres.
