📌 August Community Research Project
This Month's Focus: Monetization 🧪 Every month, we study one part of our communities together. Not by guessing. By researching what works, running small experiments, sharing what we learn, and measuring what changed. This month's question: 💡How do we design a community that can sustain itself without ever making a member feel like a transaction? This month, we are not just studying it. We are building something. You will choose one real person you could help. Not a persona, not an avatar. Someone you can picture. And over four weeks, you will design something specifically for them, one stage at a time. By the end of the month, you will have written an actual invitation, in words you would really use, to a person who really exists. Whether you're following along in the free Research Lab or building alongside us in the Build Room, you're invited to learn with us. Your 30-Day Research Journey WEEK 1 • DESIGN FOR CLARITY Understand what they actually need. Inside this week's Build Room we'll: 💚Revisit the SKOOLME Framework, with attention on the M stage and why it sits so late. 💚Choose the one person we're designing for this month. 💚Name the real problem they want solved, not the one we assume. 💚Get honest about what we already give away. Outcome: "I know exactly who I'm designing for and what they need." WEEK 2 • DESIGN FOR DISCOVERY Design how they would ever find it. We'll: 💚Explore how people come to understand what you're worth. 💚Look at real examples, including affiliate and referral models that lead with the gift. 💚Work out how your person would discover you could help them. 💚Decide what evidence we'll collect. Outcome: "I know how they'd find their way to me." WEEK 3 • DESIGN FOR TRUST Ask honestly whether they trust you yet. In the Build Room we'll: 💚Work through the three trusts: trust the guide, trust themselves, believe it's possible. 💚Find which one is thinnest for your person right now. 💚Share observations and troubleshoot together.

📌Welcome to Skoolology!
We're so glad you're here. 👋 If you're building a community and wondering... - Why aren't my members engaging? - What should I improve first? - How do I build a community people don't want to leave? You're in the right place. Skoolology is a learning community for community builders who want to stop guessing and start improving. Together, we study what works, test ideas in real communities, and learn from each other's experiments. Before we talk about your community... Let's get to know you. 👋 Your first step takes about 10 seconds. 👇Drop ONE WORD in the comments below. It might be: • A value you live by. • A word that describes the community you're building. • Or simply a word that's meaningful to you today. We'll create something special from your word and welcome you personally. ❤️ We read every single one. Your next step When you've posted your word, head over to the next pinned post and take the 5-minute Community Snapshot. It will help you discover exactly what to improve next. Welcome! Donna & Todd Learn. Build. Lead.

📌What Should You Improve Next in Your Community?
Most community builders don't need more ideas.🚦 They need to know what deserves their attention first. Maybe... • Members join but disappear. • Conversations depend on you. • You're working harder than ever but aren't seeing the progress you hoped for. • You know something needs attention...you just don't know what. The truth is... You can't improve everything at once. The fastest way to build a healthier community is to identify the one area that will create the biggest impact. That's why we created the Community Snapshot. In about 5 minutes, you'll discover: ✅ Your community's strongest area. ✅ Your biggest opportunity for improvement. ✅ The one thing I'd focus on first. Your first win isn't a perfect community. It's finally knowing what to improve next. 👉 Step 1 and 👉 Step 2 Access the free SkoolMe Snapshot and share your results here: 📊 Community Snapshot Results & Personalized Feedback I'll personally help interpret your scores and suggest where I'd begin. 👉 Step 3 Ready to improve your score instead of simply knowing it? Join this month's 30-Day Community Improvement Sprint. One month. One focus. One meaningful improvement. Because better communities aren't built by guessing. They're built by improving the right thing at the right time.

Grateful for her trust in us. 💛 I saw that you’re just getting started and that defining your structure would make the next 30 days feel like a win. You’re actually joining us at a great point in your journey because you don’t have to undo a bunch of things first. 😂 We can help you think through what you want to build and why before you start filling it with all the things. For now, come in, look around, and don’t feel like you have to figure everything out at once. We’re glad you’re here! 😊

🌟 Meet the Builder: Elsebeth Fogh
What happens when the woman who has always been the strong one finally puts something down? That's a question @Elsebeth Fogh isn't just asking. She's living it. For years, Elsebeth was the one who could carry things. Responsibilities. Expectations. Other people's needs. The belief that being strong meant holding everything together. Now, at 63, she's exploring a different kind of strength. The kind that allows you to put something down and discover that you don't fall apart. That journey sits at the heart of Inner Power Institute Europe, the community Elsebeth is building for women who have spent years proving just how much they can carry and are beginning to wonder who they might be without all that weight. And I think the way Elsebeth describes the experience she wants to create says more than any polished tagline could: "I want a woman to put her phone or tablet down, exhale, and realize, for maybe the first time in years, that she doesn't have to prove anything in this room. Not her strength. Not her competence. Not even her progress." She wants women to come back to themselves, little by little, and remember that being loved was never something they had to earn by carrying more. 💜 One of the things Todd and I have come to appreciate about Elsebeth is the depth she brings to our conversations. She looks beneath the obvious. She wonders what's happening underneath a behavior, a reaction, or a feeling. She reflects. She questions. And she isn't interested in wrapping everything in a quick answer simply because it's easier to explain. Elsebeth recently told me something that stayed with me: "The packaging isn't natural to me. I just love to share my thoughts and insights." Elsebeth, I hope you'll keep doing exactly that. Because as I've watched you, I keep seeing the same thread: Permission to put something down. To stop proving. To stop carrying everything. To get curious about who you are underneath all of it.
