@Matthew Cannon i could watch that time laps video all day! awesome build and love documentation!
Start to Finish - 5 Tree build 😎
Snagged a block from a local guy. The 5.3 came out of an early 2000’s truck with low miles for its age. Decided this one was going into my new rock crawler buggy. Was a fun mild build all around & was able to get both my kids involved in there first engine build so that was cool. Looking fwd to hearing this thing come to life one of these days. Should be a blast on the trial. Fun Parts List 😎: BTR Stage 1 Truck Cam, LS7 Lifters, BTR Springs & Pushrods, Single piece hat seals, New LS1 rocker arms w/bronze bushing trunions, FBody oil pan w/Improved racing internal baffles, Holley Valve covers, TBSS Truck Intake & Motion Raceworks 92mm Throttle Body

Nice, should be a solid build! I see you extracted an exhaust manifold bolt successfully. always a good feeling.

If it has an LS or LT Gen V in it, you’re in the right place. Post this first: - Vehicle (year/make/model) & engine/trans: - Swap stage (planning, parts, wiring, first start, driving): - Photo or video (optional but encouraged): Rules: - LS or LT builds only - No spam, no selling. No links unless they help someone fix a problem. - Ask real questions. Give real answers. Help others move their build forward. - Post photos or video when you can. Progress beats perfection. - Respect the builders here. Different budgets. Different goals. Same obsession. Get started by posting your build!

@Mike Mad Greek Check out our billet brackets that you can use that TC pump with https://www.ictbillet.com/products/ls-truck-oem-location-alternator-power-steering-bracket-type-2?variant=47476661289190

@Mike Mad Greek that kit is designed around a GM type 2 pump, which uses the same body as the radial dynamics TC pump. it is pictures with a jones racing power steering pump, which also uses a GM type 2 pump body. as long as your TC pump will accept a corvette style power steering pulley (shaft diameter and pulley offset) then you should be good to go.

I'm about to do the same with my junkyard 6.0L. did you paint with the engine assembled? I'm trying to decide if I assemble mine first or paint while its all torn apart
