I found these (didn’t buy them) and I wasn’t expecting to see these. I bought a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes for my wife last Christmas. I didn’t know, until today, they made shoes for men as well, including the characteristic red soles.

Our anniversary was on Wednesday but we celebrated this evening on international Bow Tie Day, Robin wore a floral blouse and lavender skirt. I wore a grey Winchester shirt, gtey trousers, a lavender double breasted sports coat and a purple plaid bow tie.

These are my new-to-me Allen Edmonds Dalton dress boots…fresh from eBay. I really like them, but they were listed as burgundy. In fact, I believe they were originally chili in color. I made the mistake of applying burgundy Safir and now they have an odd purple/pink tint to them in the sunlight. So I have some chili colored Safir cream arriving today. I’ll probably restore them to their original color and call it good. These boots are really versatile. With boot cut jeans, they can pass for fancy ropers (cowboy boots), and with straight cut jeans, they look like nice city boots. Im looking forward to trying them with various fall outfits!

Got in and to bed after midnight from two weeks of 60f weather in Scotland returning to hot Oklahoma. Luckily the 107f days have subsided but it’s still in the 90s. To catch up on a first day back WFH I chose a cooler outfit: sage green flyfishing motif Filson shirt; black all linen shorts, grey Sperry Topsiders. Trying to get all the cerebral work done before the jet lag catches back up with me
