Remarkable layers feature and calsync

Does using layers on a day view in the planner affect the navigation? I’d rather not add pages after each day. It’s overkill for my workflow. But I might be in a meeting and want a few notes attached to the day that I had the meeting. So, I could create a layer for meeting notes. Just double checking to see what that might affect in my planner.
