Use it any day of the week! 👉 How was your day / trip / class / lunch?
😀 How to answer:
It was great! · It was good. · It was okay. · It was busy. · It was relaxing.
➕ Add ONE detail:
I went to the beach. · I stayed home. · I saw my family. · I worked a lot.
🏓 Then ask back:
How about you? · What did you do?
❌ Never just "Fine." 😶
✅ Answer + detail + ask back = the conversation keeps going!
🔊 Sound focus: weak words
Small words are quick and soft:
How was your weekend? → "howz-yer WEEK-end?" ↘
It was great! → "i(t)-wuz GREAT!"
What did you do? → "whadja DO?"
✍️ We write the long form. 🗣️ We say the short sound.
