Going to be a little vulnerable with y’ll. Last night I made a big decision, I terminated my CrossFit gym membership. It was a huge leap for me. After 3 years of daily CrossFit WODs and grinding it I walked away, cold turkey. It is bittersweet. But why? Two reasons; I want to strengthen my discipline and I believe in Project 300. This is not a financial decision but rather a proof of concept for me that it can be done without a “gym”. Next level discipline requires I do the work alone. No selfies (like most CrossFit environments), no gym bros, no external pressure, just me v me. No leaderboard, I’m the leader and the board. This in itself is a “Project” for me. A true self-discovery of how true is my discipline. A test of unwavering grit. Project 300 has all the pillars for success. I wholeheartedly believe it. Naturally we have great folks leading it with Zack, Frank, and the entire Project 300 leadership but there is more…genuine community. No “measuring” of I’m better or you are better just a true community. That inspires me. I was part of the first Project 300 and can testify everyone here and those to come are in for a life altering experience. Lastly, it will be challenging both physically and mentally. The combination needed to test the aforementioned. I am not special nor more qualified than any of you, I’m in it like a sponge. To learn from others and share what I learned. With that, from today and forward get yours! Crushing Limitations, Andrés
