Hey @Joel Arbelo I’m a beginner too, and I actually started learning copywriting while working a full-time job in the morning, so I get the struggle. This is what I’ve been doing: 1. Read one piece of copy every day. Classroom has some good resources and swipe files. But don’t just read them, try to break them down. Look at the hook, pain points, agitation, mechanism, objections, price anchoring, future pacing, etc. Basically, try to figure out why the copy works. 2. Write one piece every day. I usually pick a real DTC brand, do some research on the product and audience, and then write an ad for them. When you’re starting out, you can use frameworks like AIDA, PAS, SSS, etc. just to give yourself somewhere to start. 3. Then send it to the brand. You’ve already done the work, so you might as well reach out and say, “Hey, I wrote this for your brand. Thought you might find it useful.” It’s a pretty easy way to start putting your work in front of potential clients. I haven’t landed a client yet either 😂 Mostly because consistency has been my biggest problem. Working on copy after a full day at a morning job is kinda hard. But yeah, if you can’t afford a coach right now, I honestly think this is a pretty good way to start. Just keep reading, writing, and reaching out.
