1965 Buick Skylark Special
Currently working with a buddy in my shop on his 65. We’d learned that he had the 6 cylinder motor frame stands which apparently are different than the 8 cylinder motor frame stands (apparently quite uncommon). Took several days fighting it, googling, and he even broke out Chargpt to figure out we needed to custom mount some SBC mounts in his car to get the motor sitting properly. But finally came out victorious and got the 5.3 sitting in there. Don’t mind the mess in there.

He used Chevy upper engine mounts. We ended up connecting the frame stands to the upper mounts, and setting in the engine bay. Leveling and squaring it up and drilling out new holes to fit the frame stands.. it was a learning curve for sure.

@Tj Johnson that is his temp solution to connect the 65 steering shaft to the modern power steering gearbox to be able to steer the car until he gets to the point in the build where he upgrades the steering column to something more compatible.
