We launched the first batch of member-created ads
Shoutout to @Jente Nuitten. I launched his ads on Friday. They brought in 2 new members within 24 hours. Jente was the one who gave me the idea for spending our own money to run your ads so you can get your case studies faster. He proactively DM'd me and said, > Nabeel, I want to get more creative strategy proof. Can I make some ads for you to run? I won't charge you anything, just use my affiliate link. Of course I couldn't say yes fast enough. Any Copywriting Launchpad member could have done this at any time. YOU DIDN'T. Jente did. And he handled everything from start to finish: - Research - Ideas - Briefs (copy, variations, art direction) - Final creatives (effortless now with AI; though knowing how to use Canva/Figma helps) All I had to do was review, give feedback, and approve. A month from now Jente's ads will have spent thousands of dollars. His ads will have enrolled several new paying members and produced however much new MRR. And he'll have his first (or second or third) real case study. Isn't that brilliant? Imagine taking your Copywriting Launchpad case study to a brand owner or CMO and saying, > Look, I know I'm new to creative strategy, but I've already got this case study. Give me a shot and I won't let you down. This is the kind of proactive behaviour, the kind of BALLS/OVARIES, that launches copywriting careers. And now, because of Jente's big balls, the same opportunity is open to every Copywriting Launchpad member. Oh and by the way, this doesn't only apply to Meta ads. There are several ways we can apply this new member perk. We are only limited by your desire to succeed. I've included more details in the video than I did in my first announcement. So please watch it and when you're done, leave a like and a comment under the video. Your engagement helps the YouTube algorithm show the video to more people. One last thing: Smart members will use this video to make their Copywriting Launchpad membership free.

Ads for Copywriting Launchpad
Hi @Nabeel Azeez , I just made some ads for Copywriting Launchpad. Inside my work, i have already included my whole process. Here is my work: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xy71gtUjnvhE1tZvgSMK54j8BKYUGdQ-?usp=sharing What mistake do i have on my process, especially the ad copy (the primary text), my ads. Which part is bad and need fixes. Thanks @Nabeel Azeez for feedback and if ads are qualified

Way to go @Steven Le I see youve got 9 Ads. It was interesting to look through and read your process. I will be sending 3-5 tommorrow - looking forward to see the feedback you get on these.
ICP quoted my offer at £2100!
Taking a min to celebrate a mini win!🎉 I’ve been outreaching a bit like a madman for a while now with my case study offer and had a second call with an ICP this morning. Call went great and book him in for a third interview since we both enjoyed chatting so much! Feeling very grateful. Not a client yet but I’ve got 3 coffees with ICPs in Liverpool this month to chat over my offer so we’ll see how things go! ☕️

Great work man!
Got a job as creative strategist at an ad agency
They are paying me for number of briefs and performance. Not the highest paying gig, but they'll share my results, which is even more valuable! (In the long wrong ;) ) Stoked!

The missing piece that takes your copy from good to GREAT
UPDATE: @Abrar Saad got closest. The missing piece is EMOTION *** I wrote an email a few days ago. It had valuable insights. But something was off about it. I finished the email and sent it anyway. Then I saw this email shared on Twitter. It's from a Sorority chapter president to her sisters. And I realized what was off about my email. It's the missing piece that takes copy from good to great. And it was staring me in the face the whole time. But when you've been doing something for so long you sometimes miss the obvious. I want you to read this email and reflect on what's happening to you as you read it. When you're done, leave a comment below with your thoughts. And tell me what you think the missing piece is. QUOTE If you just opened this like I told you to, tie yourself down to whatever chair you’re sitting in, because this email is going to be a rough fucking ride. For those of you that have your heads stuck under rocks, which apparently is the majority of this chapter, we have been FUCKING UP in terms of night time events and general social interactions with Sigma Nu. I’ve been getting texts on texts about people LITERALLY being so fucking AWKWARD and so fucking BORING. If you’re reading this right now and saying to yourself “But oh em gee Julia, I’ve been having so much fun with my sisters this week!”, then punch yourself in the face right now so that I don’t have to fucking find you on campus to do it myself. I do not give a flying fuck, and Sigma Nu does not give a flying fuck, about how much you fucking love to talk to your sisters. You have 361 days out of the fucking year to talk to sisters, and this week is NOT, I fucking repeat NOT ONE OF THEM. This week is about fostering relationships in the greek community, and that’s not fucking possible if you’re going to stand around and talk to each other and not our matchup. Newsflash you stupid cocks: FRATS DON’T LIKE BORING SORORITIES. Oh wait, DOUBLE FUCKING NEWSFLASH: SIGMA NU IS NOT GOING TO WANT TO HANG OUT WITH US IF WE FUCKING SUCK, which by the way in case you’re an idiot and need it spelled out for you, WE FUCKING SUCK SO FAR. This also applies to you little shits that have talked openly about post gaming at a different frat IN FRONT OF SIGMA NU BROTHERS. Are you people fucking retarded? That’s not a rhetorical question, I LITERALLY want you to email me back telling me if you’re mentally slow so I can make sure you don’t go to anymore night time events. If Sigma Nu openly said “Yeah we’re gonna invite Zeta over”, would you be happy? WOULD YOU? No you wouldn’t, so WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO IT TO THEM?? IN FRONT OF THEM?!! First of all, you SHOULDN’T be post gaming at other frats, I don’t give a FUCK if your boyfriend is in it, if your brother is in it, or if your entire family is in that frat. YOU DON’T GO. YOU. DON’T. GO. And you ESPECIALLY do fucking NOT convince other girls to leave with you.

I think the missing piece is getting an emotional response from the reader. In this case anger, shame, hate (for Julia maybe), feeling like they are letting others down. It makes the reader feel like the copy is written especially to/for them. As a reader I could feel Julias anger - she is PISSED OFF and wants the reader to know this. I found it amusing how she voices the reader, "But Julia.." in a whiny little bitch voice lol
